The word that comes to my mind about this airline is "cheapskates ".

Isn't kcee already their brand ambassador. So it's most probably that it cost them next to nothing to get this done. Probably part of his contract and they say they are appreciating their customers. This is stuff you infuse randomly to surprise your customers not to appreciate them.

Appreciation requires giving back. Like checking the list of recurring customers and giving them a discount coupon. Only God knows where half of their dedicated customers where on board a flight during that period.
