D9ty7, peace be upon you. What you did with this story is not good at all. The main mistake you did was transferring this story to your blog. Even if you wanted it in your blog you could have at least be updating it here as well. And now you've started a new story and you stopped updating this one even on your blog sef. Sincerely speaking its painful oo.

Stumbled on diz piece by chance n I gotta say it's gud 2 read a crime thriller in naija setting.......even though it wasn't completed.

Oga OP, in as much as diz story is a work of fiction, geographical settings shld be as physically accurate as possible (myt be useful in oda stories). P.S: I stand corrected if I'm mistaken
1- CIA headquarters is in Langley, Virginia n not Washington DC as u stated in d early parts of diz story. CIA stations in oda parts of USA r jst field offices n safe houses
2- it's Israeli MOSSAD n nt Isreali MOUSSAD
3- I've neva heard of a Lagos-Ore express way (unless it's jst been built)
4- the name Danny Lovato sounds more spanish, italian or any central/south american country rather dan russian. (Or ao many Chukwudi of Ibadan u don eva meet). Think of names lyk Ivan, Igor, Boris, Vladmir, Stalinski etc
5- Unless American citizens are being investigated as victim/perpetrator of crime in diz story, d FBI has no operational jurisdiction in Nigeria.
6- D correct term is "field operative" n nt "field operator"
7- Mark Ashimolowo's character as a top CIA agent will mean dat he works outside d US much more dan he's been portrayed 2 hv attained his feats by working within d shores of USA. CIA has no operational jurisdiction within d shores of USA.

FBI operate in Nigeria. That was what I thought until I saw someone working there in my church.

Like I stated: unless dia'z an investigation on an American citizen as a victim or perpetrator of any crime, den n only den do dey hv jurisdiction on foreign soil. N d FBI can operate wit or witout permission frm local authorities wia dey're @ dat point in time.

--continuation--
After he has been given an all clear, Daniel Martins finally drove into the compound with the hope of finding his son alive. He quickly alighted and ran towards the police boss.
"How far?" He asked.
The police officer turned to face him with a suprised look. "You shouldn't be here." he said.
"I asked as question Mr man. And I demand an answer." Daniel shouted.
"Calm down, Mr Daniel. Your safety is very important to me in particular." The police man replied politely. But seeing that his approach is not going down well with the businessman, he changed approach.
"For now your son is no where in sight. The supposed kidnappers are not either, but we saw a dead body in one of the rooms, and from all indications, the gunshot we hear the other time resulted in the dead body we found. If that is the case, then the kidnappers should still be around the vicinity." He explained.
"What about my son?" Daniel asked fearfully.
"e be like sey you are deaf. Haven't I been speaking in English since?" The officer thought.
"Finding your son lies with finding the kidnappers. Just stand back and let us do our job."
---------------
After spending fifteen minutes in the room with no one in sight, except the blaring sound of the police van siren, Mayor jumped down as silent as he could and then proceeded into the inner rooms in the warehouse. He was hopeful that Christopher would still be in the room as it will be unprofessional of Biggie to at the same time try to save himself and still hold the boy hostage.
-----------
Daniel stood impatiently beside the police boss as he instructed his boys with displayed images on a flatscreen. Judging from the way and manner with which everyone paid attention, he concluded that it has to be related to the house inside whose compound they were.
"Sir." One of the police officers called their boss' attention while pointing to the entrance of the house.
Everyone turned towards the direction which the officer pointed.
Daniel followed everybody's gaze and as if in a movie, Chris walked side by side with a young man he would recognize anywhere, and a suprise followed from behind. He had to rub his eyes with the back of his hands to ascertain if he was dreaming or not. There stood his wife all smiles.
He calmly walked towards them.
"Chris, are you okay?" He asked.
"Yes dad." for the first time in his life, he felt like a real dad. He opened his arms and hugged him tightly.
"Thank you very much sweety." He hugged his wife too, and for the first time he felt he has a family.
"He found us and rescued us." Chris said pointing to Mayor who was being held by the police.
Daniel shook hands with him warmly with a smile, even though Mayor didn't return the gesture, he still appreciated his help at rescuing his son.
A question on his mind was how his wife came to be in the same place with Chris.
"Where is my mum?" Chris asked, disappointment evident in his looks.
"She sent me." Mayor replied.
