Probably you were trying to create a payment link. If you want to create a digital store, you will have to do it from the modules features.

Members Area ---> Modules ---> Store ---> Create New Store ----> Create A Digital Store

Then follow the simple steps. You would be able to upload items to your store, and also images to describe your store.
