 President Muhammadu Buhari spent some time out of his very tight schedules on Sunday in an evening of wining and dining at the Guards of Brigade Regimental Dinner, held at the Guards Brigade Scorpion Officers’ Mess in Abuja At the colourful occasion, President Buhari acted as the music director. Dignitaries who also graced the ceremony were Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen. Tukur Buratai; Minister of Defence, Brig-Gen Mansur Mohammed Dan-Ali; Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Abayomi Olonisakin; Chief of Staff, Alhaji Abba Kyari; Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau; Former Military Governor of Oyo State, Maj-Gen. Paul Tarfa (reted) and other top officials of the Nigerian Army. Social media change agents should leave this man alone to do his work, all this praise singing won't take us anywhere. For a man to be pursuing this presidency for 12 years means there is something he wants to do, whether it is for good or bad let him do it let us see that magic he wants to perform inside Aso rock. The worst thing we will do to this nation is not to engage him on burning issues and allow all this unnecessary and unwarranted praise singing. That certainly isn't our problem. We want to cut down wastages, eliminate corruption, turn around our economy, instill moral values and virtues in our society, bring back our cherished cultural value system that has been eroded. Restored our agriculture and education as well as health sectors. These are some of the areas we should constantly hold him accountable and not cat every move grown up adults who should be concerned about how Naija can be good for all of us especially our children and the unborn Nigerians will just come out here and be chanting and praise singing a retired generals praises for nothing done. Tell me then how anybody can ever take the youths serious in this country when they know they can be bought over cheaply. .Nigeria belongs to the youths, its ours, we got the power, we got the might. Even if they have stolen all our money, we have the power to go get them back if we believe as one in the survival of Naija. 1 Like |

aminho:I don't think so. Chief of Staff is a senior personal Aide of the President in-charge of government house. Ministers are Executive Council members. He may be influential but not powerful. |

President Buhari is God sent to Nigeria, i am not a northerner or a member of any party so i believe in truth, in Buhari's time, Corruption might die completely because probing past administration means that he'll be expecting the same thing after his tenure, so i don't think he'll give room to corrupt politicians in his administration. |
