I guess the reason for this seal off must be connected to #dasukigate $2.1billion arms deal scam.

Also nowadays banks launder money for this criminal politicians.

If it is established the Bank has been a Conduit for looting, then.

(A)Their Licence should be revoked by the CBN.

(B)Those at the helm of Affairs of the Bank should be made to face the full ATTENTION of the Law.

(C) Restitution paid back to the People Of Nigeria Via the Government.

(D)The Bank should be NATIONALIZED.

I am starting to be really impressed by this new EFCC.

The message is starting to get out now, that this is not business as usual. The banking sector is about 70% sanitized now, and hopefully before the end of the 8 Years of Buhari, the Banks should be fully cleaned up.

The banks can spend all the monies they want on Paid Ghost Criers/Propaganda Cries on the pages of the Newspapers, on how Buharis Government is killing Business and the Banks in Nigeria, but we the PEOPLE of Nigeria are not fooled.

Nice one the EFCC.

I doubt your theory. The reason might not be unconnected to the owner of the property. Perhaps one of the big fishes who patook in the bazaar owns the building and it is being rented by the Bank or leased to it.

But wait a second if money was laundered is it the bank's fault? I mean there are laid down processes that the bank must have followed before paying any cheque issued by the government, confirmations must have been done and the cheque must have been signed by the accountant general or who ever is in charge of that before payment.
It's only in cases where policies were not followed that the bank will become liable.
On the other hand if they are talking about funds brought into the bank by the money launderers as their personal money .....well i must say that the bank must have provided policies that encourages due diligence in situations as this (as is the case with many other banks too ).......if that be the case, what we will now be looking at is which member of staff went ahead to flaunt the bank policy with out recourse to the consequences of his/her actions. ..it could either be the account manager or maybe the branch manager or whoever....

I believe GTB is capable of anything!!

A bank that will debit your account for 285 for a transaction & refund @ 199 then still have the audacity to tell you, the 285 was MC rate as at the minute/ second of your transaction but can only refund @ OFFICIAL rate....

Will never sell you PTA, will pay WU in Naira & even refuse to let you draw funds remitted in Forex to you, rather will call Abok.1 right into the banking hall to do account to account transfer (shafting you seriously) and tell you it is CBN policy!!

GTB is capable of anything! ! Awon ole!!

EFCC over reacting, why brandish the entire bank criminals, without completing the investigation, and competent court convicting those involved. do this people know how negatively this will affect the banks stock on the stock exchange, and also peoples savings in that bank and the entire Nigerian economy.

This is an overkill, absolutely unnecessary. They can investigate without necessarily trying to smear the name of the bank. CBN is the most guilty financial institution in the entire #Dasukigate and EFCC has not even deemed it fit to invite the CBN governor or any other staffs of the bank.

GTB and all other erring banks should be investigated and sanctioned if necessary but smearing their business reputation in such a. Manner is unprofessional of EFCC. This nonsense can seriously affect the goodwill of the bank.

What dirty investors? That's how our economy has been looted dry in the name of inviting investors. Hang them all, including Atiku, El Rufai, Amaechi......

Anyways, I heard the building and not the bank is under investigation. It is alleged to belong to former CDS, Alex Badeh.

Even if the bank is found guilty, there's a better way to express it than the method used.

What of a ribbon with EFCC logo on it,that can't be used ni?

Funniest thing is that the case is still under investigation.
