That should be School of Public health right?. I am an applicant for Biostatistics in same school for FALL2016.

Not really, it is under the school of Medicine. Well, it is thesis based, while public health is course based.

Well, not really. Community health is a thesis based program while public health is a course based. Did you have a confirmed supervisor before applying into biostatistics?

In your SOP, you need to passionately explain how you will use your course of study in Nigeria. You need to be as specific, explicit, detailed, and concise as possible. You also need to highlight the employment options in Nigeria for someone of your course.

Hello house, I need your advice on how to go about this. My sponsors statement of account was printed from the 2011 till date. Just about five pages. He open the account with about 6m and has never withdrawn a dime from the account. The problem is that the money is usually rolled over every 180 days I.e its goes to fixed deposit account and this is visible on the SOA. The money is meant to mature into his account by first week of march. My question now is, can this serve as a good Soa? He also wrote a letter stating that the funds will mature by march and will be available to pay the balance of my fees which is about 11k canadian dollars (1500 deposit has been paid). He also stated he has no need for the money until now. I have 2m in my account. The balance in the account aside the booked sum is about 200k. House please advice. I intend to apply by next week.
Thanks

In this case al you need is is fixed deposit certificate stating the present worth of the FD. That way u don't need to explain anythin.

Submittin an SOA with little o no transaction cou backfire.

I FD certificate with enough fund is okay.

Hello house, this year will obey us in the mighty name of God.
I am ready to refire due to denial last November.... The problem I have now is that, my uncle who is my sponsor number one says he is ready to provide me all my tuition fee and living cost as well, meanwhile, my elder brother is already to provide me with 11000cad every year as living expenses, then whilst filling the form, and also in the affidavit of sponsorship for each what do I write? Since one is sponsoring my entirely 26500cad a year which covers tuition and living cost, and the other willing to make 11000cad available for me as living cost, how do I put these in the sop?

It took me like a month. I started sending emails to my proposed supervisors before they open the portal for application for Fall2016.

Hi guys I got refused a study visa for a certificate programme and reasons were:
I did not convince the visa officer that I'll return after my programme based on these
- Purpose of visit
-Travel history
- Family ties in Canada and in Nigeria

Actually my uncle in Canada paid my school fees and I provided his financials during application.

Well I've never travelled abroad before so I really wonder why that's an issue

Purpose of visit is supposed to be to study as I have evidence of admission letter and fees paid

Can someone give an idea of where I got the application wrong?
Thanks

It would be advisable to list all the documents you submitted, Gurus in the house can help from there.
Sometimes it isn't about the application you sent forth, it's about the timing of application.
In 2013, I was denied visa into Canada, I used exactly the same docs the second time and got it, the only obvious change on the application was my admission letter from a different school .
Don't give up bro, just retry.
Cheers.
