Yes, you are quite right. You have seen and heard it all. That's why you have created a thread bemoaning the state of your industry and the prospect of losing a customer. That's also why you have asked OPEC to pretty please slow down production so that the price of oil goes up a tad bit. You've heard it all not doubt. This explains why your president has had to resort to stealing his own budget from the house so as to make oil-price induced amendments. You've had the story about your slowing revenues and your inability to secure forex, given that oil constitutes about 90% of your forex. I agree, you've heard it all. All these stories happen to be shale -gas induced. And South Africa has shale gas...your kryptonite. You don't.

Very enviable position, you are in. I agree with you.

PS: I didn't know that people post stuff on a forum and expect to not be quoted. Given that you've just quoted me, I suppose it's even Stevens.

And on second thought, I suppose this thread was created out of love and extreme security. Must be nice. wink

grin grin grin that goes down as an epic Quote of dismissal. You have potential but you're too _fucking diplomatic.

Yes, I agree with what you say. Examples of Nigeria'a ability to negotiate diplomatically can be seen in how Buhari is currently negotiating with Biafran Igbos. In fact, the fact that the most destructive war in Africa was the Biafran war is a perfect example of Nigeria's love for diplomacy. That South Africa has never had a civil war is quite shameful and shows that they don't understand diplomacy. Neither is the South Africa's negotiated settlement an example of diplomacy. Wha is an example of diplomacy is the fact that Boko Haram is currently negotiating via the barrel of a gun and the trigger of a bomb. Also the loving behaviour of the Fulani herdsmen is another example of diplomacy. As is the fining of a foreign company, which has given rise to many comments on this thread. Yes, our Nigeria-phobia ailment is demonstrated by the fact that South Africans started this thread.

You are quite right. wink

Clearly, you are a frustrated soul full of envy and insecurity.
Surely Nigeria's might and potentials are your gratest nightmare as exibited by your submissions.
The earlier quote from you didnt warrant that reaction. You're clearly wounded!

I dont do country bashing or care what country is untop of who.
My energy and concentration is first to better myself and my community by that i make imputs to my nation.

Get a life. Successful people dont toll your stance.
You sound empty.
Dont let Nigeria's problems be your problem
or the problem why your country is losing even the 2nd econonic spot on a continent as poor as Africa. Or why the fast decay of infrastructure experienced in your land in just a short spell of black rullership.
Last time i checked, being a citizen of S.A you should be the last to look down on any country.

Thats all i have for you. I dont debase myself with your likes

Yes, yes...my frustration is demonstrated by the fact that you've written an entire book to me. People that are NOT frustrated do take their own advice that they don't work too hard to prove a point. You certainly haven't worked too hard to prove a point. You've only written a novel. Yes, you aren't frustrated. I am. Yes, you don't do country-bashing. All you do is throw a line or two here and there about why one country is bad and why you are better. Country massaging then, I suppose?

I am certainly frustrated by the fact that there is a country that has a GDP per capita that is 3 times lower than my country's. A country that needs to be three times bigger to reach the living standards in mine. Sooooo frustrating. I, along with people from Switzerland who have a GDP lower than yours are sooooo frustrated right now. Why wouldn't they be, given the importance of a large GDP. Never mind that they have the highest living standards in Europe. Frustrating stuff.

That Nigerian has a tenth of South Africa electricity generating capacity is also another source of frustration for us. As is the fact that Nigeria actually had a bigger GDP years before the recalculation and now thinks that there will suddenly be a change in living standards because they have recalculated the GDP. That they always had these figures available to them without results does not matter. Who cares about that, right?

I agree, being a citizen of South Africa, I cant look down on any country. Especially Nigeria, because there are no Nigerias seeking asylum in South Africa. What is in fact happening is that South Africans are seeking asylum in Nigeria. Very frustrating for me. South Africans escaping their decaying country to be sheltered in Nigeria. Sooooo pathetic.

Actually, it is always a sign of madness to post a couple of things that are 100% true. I agree with you. It doesn't matte where you are in the world. A person who posts facts is a vampire. Yes, that's quite a nice point. Perfectly apt and amazing. I mean, where was Mandela when 3 million Biafran Nigerians were being killed by their countrymen in the 60s? Where the hell was he? When Nigeria was suffering under the hand of fellow blacks , experiencing black-on-black violence and oppression, where was Mandela? The fact that oppression in South Africa can be described as racism while Nigeria's troubles are black-on-black is a shining example of what a great and enviable situation Nigeria finds itself in.

I mean, where the hell is he now that Biafrans are being shot in the streets and detained while they are agitating for freedom and independence? He was nowhere? He is totally useless. Never mind that he actually managed to oversee a negotiation that averted a civil war in his country. The fact that Nigerians CHOSE civil war; and military rule; and islamic insurgency; and terrorism and religious wars is irrelevant. They are great diplomats and democrats. The South Africans are useless.

You still didn't answer the questions, no pretence to even try.

Your miners are shot in cold blood for daring to ask for a pay rise. It has happened more than twice. America fought her civil war as did the French and British.

Zulus are slaves. Every last molecule of a Zulu is made of slavery. Please remember that Botha and co rightfully opined that apartheid stopped Zulus, Bantus, Xhosa and co from tearing themselves apart.

It is amazing that peaceful south Africa still record more deaths in peace time than war torn Nigeria.

Your question was soooooo good that I had no answer to it. I have no clue where the useless Mandela was when Nigeria was being useful and practising black-on-black oppression and violence. I have no idea. Where he is now, I still don't know.

I agree with you that Nigeria has a peaceful record. There is no one as peaceful as a country that witnessed the most number of deaths in a civil war on the continent. Yes, yes the fact that a nation emerged out of America's civil war, while military rule and oppression emerged out of Nigeria's is irrelevant. Nigeria and the US are the same. Nigeria, a country that today has the biggest population of persons internally displaced by violence. Never mind terrorism, and religious killings and agitation to breakaway from the country and to be shot for your efforts. That Nigeria is war torn while South Africa is not is a sign that it is stable and should promptly be moved up the stability index, above South Africa. I mean, what's a few bombs and black-on-black wars between friends, right?

Yes, yes. Zulus are slaves. And Igbos are sooo free that they want their Biafra back. Soooooo free are the Nigerians that they want asylum in South Africa. Now that's freedom. When South Africans will escape slavery in South Africa for the safe shores of Nigeria, I don't know. So, no, you have stumped me. I cannot answer your question. Dumfounded is I. grin

Your education is a colossal waste. Your folks should have put in more funds to sharpen your skills at spear-wielding instead of this display of pretense and gross ignorance you put up here.

There are break up calls in US, UK, Spain, Canada, I can't even begin to count. Damn, your ignorance is on steroids.

1. South Africa has the highest casualties on murder rate so don't give us your title.

2. A stable country that has the highest number of death by murder and rape both in Africa and the world.
If you define that as stability, then let It evade Nigeria.

3. Biafra call is a call for political concession within the internal political dynamic of our domestic politics. If it were a secession, the igbo hierarchy will be on it and not a youth that isnt even domiciled in Nigeria. You're a poor political observer. Tag me and get free education.

4. Oh, Igbos are your pseudo-masters in south Africa, not asylum seekers. They own your SME's and MSBs and run your streets. Your women are testament to this. You don't want me to start posting screen grabs of your social lamentations of your young women and men here.

5. No Zulu will venture as far as Lesotho or Angola or Mozambique. 400 years of slavery has left a permanent trait of timidity and unproductivity in all black south Africans. You're incompetent, drunkards, drug-sniffing muppets who prefer rapé, murder and violence to productivity.

6. South Africa currently have 25% unemployment. That is 1in 4 south African is jobless. That's why Xenophobia everywhere. You cant run a firm or own a company. BEE won't help you. It is stealing and have finally made South Africa the most unequal country in the world.

7. Zimbabwean president, Mugabe, rightly said that Zulus will spit and kick at the stature of the white man in Pretoria and jobourg who has enslaved him for 400 years and kill a fellow Blackman whose only crime is to be better than him.

Get us to round 3.

Get us to round 3.

What a splendid argument. That South Africa has the "highest number" of murders and rapes is such a turnoff that there are NO Nigerians pleading to get in. Crying for asylum, which is a desire to be shielded from persecution. No Nigerians are rushing to South Africa because South Africa is unsafe. They actually sit in Nigeria and instead, South Africans stream into Nigeria because they feel unsafe in South Africa. What a stunning point you raise.

Yes, yes, the call by the Biafrans is peaceful and has seen no violence. It is a sign of Nigeria's ability to apply diplomacy, as per your initial argument. Thanks for educating me and letting me know that Biafrans are not being shot and detained in Nigeria as we speak. It is all a dream. It's a party out there. That the country walks around scared by the civil war is of course nothing to worry about. At least these scars were caused by other blacks, right?

Very much are Igbos pseudo-masters that they decided to protest yesterday because one of them swallowed hard drugs and was killed in the filth of Hillbrow and Kempton Park where they live. This is the perfect behaviour of pseudo-masters. They ask for asylum and shame their country in the process. I would like more masters to behave in this way.

And how I love the fact that Nigeria is sooooo good as statistics that it actually knows what its crime rate is today. You are wonderful with these insights.

Oh Mugabe, the greatest leader on the planet, who has driven half his countrymen into South Africa as economic refugees. He should know a thing or two and is definitely someone to look up to. Especially by Nigeria, a country whose countrymen also stream into South Africa. Peas in a pod. You are outstanding.

Each time I see a long narrative epistle from you, I weep for you delusions. I have tears genuinely for you. If foolishness were a crime, you'll get a life sentence. I'm going to make this brief as possible so you can understand for your attention span is that of a squirrel.

1) when we're measuring the power of two countries politically, economically and by influence we use GDP norminal not GDP per capita.

2) When you bring up GDP per capita and standard of living make sure you're talking about domestic politics or elections.

So let's go.

If countries are measured by GDP per capita or your so-called standard of living, then Switzerland, Luxembourg, Norway Denmark and Holland will be pulling the world.
But we know these countries are inconsequential in the scheme of international power play.

So countries with a larger GDP norminal and population takes the front seat in global affairs. Eg, USA, China, Germany, India, Brazil.

Please note that Germany, France and UK run the power show in Europe and NONE of them have the highest GDP per capital. They have the highest GDP norminal.

USA and China determine world economy and affairs. The USA AT NO POINT IN HISTORY has recorded the highest GDP per capita. It is her GDP norminal that dictates the pace.

In Africa Nigeria has the largest population and GDP norminal eclipsing south Africa by a huge distance. That's why all your firms and companies are dying to come here.

That's why Pretoria was worried when the index was announced. I can give you BBC excerpts to confirm this.

Your GDP per capita means nothing when we talk of countries powers and projection.

May I also remind you that in Africa , Libya, Mauritius, Gabon etc have the highest GDP in Africa, yet they will catch a cold if Nigeria sneezes through one of her nostrils. They are no power brokers in Africa.

So countries with a larger GDP and population takes the front seat in global affairs. Eg, USA, China, Germany, India, Brazil.

Please note that Germany, France and UK run the power show in Europe and NONE of them have the highest dgp per capital.

Your GDP per cspita means nothing when we talk of countries powers.

May I also remind you that in Africa , Libya, Mauritius, Gabon etc have the highest GDP in Africa, yet they will catch a cold if Nigeria sneezes through one of her nostrils. They are no power brokers in Africa.

Dievluit , have I been able to convince you you're _stupid and ignorant beyond redemption?

You certainly are a bright spark. You have demonstrated your wisdom in that while the world talks about GDP per capita, you know better than the world and speak of GDP per CAPITAL. Is that the capital of the US perhaps, or perhaps are we now talking about Abuja? How small is I? Perpetually confused.

That Germany's GDP per capita falls between $64,848 and $129,696 is nothing in the eyes of Nigeria which has achieved the amazing and mind-bogglingly huge number of $3000 GDP per capita. That's why Nigerians are not economic refugees and asylum seekers.

Yes, yes, soooooooo much power Nigeria has that it sits as a member of the G20 and Brics and has its companies all over South Africa. South Africa has no corporate presence in Nigeria and is definitely powerless. South Africans see Nigerian brands and corporate colours whenever they go walkabout in Joburg and Nigerians see no such South African brands in Lagos. Given that corporate reach is like colonisation, South Africans are colonised by Nigerian brands while Nigeria faces no such colonisation. You have NOT played yourself.

Yes, yes, yes, Mauritius has the highest GDP in Africa which happens to be $23 billion. Thank you for letting us know that as of today this represents the highest GDP in Africa. You are very clever.

I see that South Africa is catching a cold now. That's why South Africa's announcement that it will not be buying Nigerian crude has passed WITHOUT mention in Nigeria. And that's why you have managed to enforce that fine and have received prompt payment from MTN.

Another dumb Quote again. The only asylum seekers are your firms, shoprite dstv and co who are setting up shops across north eastern bokoharam territories. That's how your BEE has crippled themthem and make them desperate. You Zulu thief. Nigerians are next to your gods in south Africa. Yes, yes, the call by the Biafrans is peaceful and has seen no violence. It is a sign of Nigeria's ability to apply diplomacy, as per your initial argument. That the country walks around scared by the civil war is of course nothing to worry about. At least these scars were caused by other blacks, right?

Yes, yes, yes you held us down to account. Which is why you were allowed to conduct your own autopsy as per your demands. You were not told to sit down and wait like every other person who wants autopsy results. You definitely were not shot at by the police. They did not make you scatter like rats. I agree. That's a great way of holding people to account. The "Gods" were not fobbed off and shot at by the police; and were not made to go back to their filthy apartments in Hillbrow and Auckland park.

No...what has happened instead is that you gave MTN a fine and a deadline; and MTN paid you immediately.

You also have forced South Africa to continue buying oil from you.

Yes, Nigerians are NOT thieving Igbos because even though they did not fall victim to "xenophobia", they still demanded compensation. No, no.. they are very honest, upstanding people, the drug-gerians.

So illogical is my argument that you keep responding to it. That's the behaviour of an intelligent person...responding to something that you deem illogical. When I said you are smart, I meant it.

We gave mtn a fine and all of Zulu hierarchy was in Lagos queuing at the embassy. Sifiso Dabengwa, your CEO tendered his resignation. grin

Please tell me what can be as base and disgraceful as a citizens of a country openly killing, stealing and looting the properties and belonged of foreigners in their land in cold blood ?

No shame, no pride. Just pure savery and barbarism.

Those are the thieves Africa is ashamed of.

Never in the history of Africa have all countries rise up to condemn a single country.

The fear and inferiority are in your eyes.

These foreigners prospered where you failed
They got jobs where you lacked competence
South Africans couldn't even run spaza shops.

Malawians and Somalians too the business out of your hands.

Amazing! None is as shameful as one to whom sarcasm is lost. A gem you really are.

Yes, the amazing Nigeria gave MTN a fine, not for the resignation of CEOs, but for the payment of the fine. It is amazing that the fine was paid in record time and that Nigerians did not lose their jobs as a result. The Nigerian manager of the subsidiary was not fired. And MTN did not lay off 2000 Visafone employees as a result of the fine. And Nigeria's status as a frontier economy was not entrenched. Yes, Nigeria did not shoot itself in the foot and is not in the middle of a long process of self-embarrassment.

In the history of mankind, countries listen when refugees and and asylum seekers condemn them because they have so much to lose when refugees refuse to seek refuge in it. Who wants to lose there refugees, right? I never saw it like that. Amazing insights. South Africa should be trembling in its boots, seeing as countries that produce refugees have come together to condemn it, in the hope that more refugees will be allowed in. Quite a thought, that.

Yes, prosper they did. They prospered so much that they have had to swallow hard drugs in the hope of escaping arrest. That is quite some way of prospering. I should try it. I think the creation of complete industries and the building of malls in Nigeria is not prospering. Seeking refuge and asylum in South Africa is. Fine example of prosperity.

You are sooooo right.

Your sense of logic is frightfull and worrisome.

Nigeria gave mtn a fine and all of Zulu hierarchy was rattled. Chief CEO resigned, stock fell 25% and it too a renewed licence issuance to get stock moving.

Few Nigerians do drugs in S.A. that's a south African problem, you provide the market and field men. You're all drug-sniffing, unproductive, junkies . That's why your school attendance is low and your grades have fallen of universal standard.

If refugees and asylum seekers will get Linda to lament like so many young south African women, then all male Zulus should be castrated and sent to Syria as human shield to serve any purpose to humanity.

Xenophobic, unproductive, drooling, troglodyte Chimpanzees.

See your women lamenting below for asylum seekers.

The truth and nothing but ..Amen. DieVluit for President
