The Op is right, however those who are enemies of Christ, either openly or not wouldn't admit or understand this. It's not about being in a religious sense or real world... Jesus Christ's sacrifice to die for us was for all, for those that presently believe and those that don't and are against Him @present, like Apostle Paul who was once an enemy.

He already died for them and His grace is awaiting anyone who comes into the fold. This sums the point of the Ops view about our worth. We as insiders(Christians) view it that way, but unbelievers might not.
God gave Him up for us, that way reflecting our worth. Never does the circumstances we're faced with equal to our worth. The word of God says so and even if y'all don't believe the word of God, it's the standard.
