I visited that zoo sometime last year, to be candid, the state in which I saw the animals in that zoo (not just the lion) was pathetic and sorrowful...
They look pale and feeble...

I can't confirm how true this photo is but according to Justice, this is what a LION has been reduced to in the old Jos zoo!

Nigerians sha! If they can't take care of the poor animal they should sell it off to countries who can. I wonder why there are no animal rights activists in nigeria
Nigerians like eating meat a lot, hence no animal rights activists.

If these clowns can't run a zoo, then they should sell these animals to countries that actually care about wild animals.. I won't be surprised if someone is busy embezzling money meant for feeding these animals..
for sure na..that explains it

Re: Photo Of A LION In The Old Jos Zoo! by zoneros(m): 7:47am On Feb 28, 2016
Trust me on this... There is currently no lion in Jos Wildlife Park. The only one was the one that escaped late last year, killed and used for pepper soup.

This typifies the relationship between Nigerian government and the Eastern region.

It is left for the Easterners to take their destiny by force before they are reduced to the Lion seen above.
