Welcome to the party. I am also using the same phone. Mine is on 5.1.1 lollipop, currently playing call of Duty strike team. But having problems with other games, cos they keep exiting. People said it's the fault of the Android version. I can't say

I know my gpu isn't up to specs but I don't think it's the cause cos games like NBA 2k13 plays on 4.4.2 version

you can't compare a game made in 2012 to the ones of 2015 cuz there will surely be graphic difference now that's where your phone gpu comes to play
