why do you refer to bus drivers as "mere"? With out bus drivers in this country evry thing would grind to a halt.

Also what do you know about khans policies? He is a blairite who is in favour of policies which are very similar to the tories eg dismantling of the nhs, further impoverishment of the poor and tax breaks for the rich. Sadiq Khan did not just come out of the blues to win the mayoral election. He is a thoroughbred politician. He is a Member of Parliament representing Tooting. He has been Minister of State for Communities, Minister of State for Transport and has also been Shadow Minister twice. He was also a Shadow Lord Chancellor.

I believe in actions not cheap promises designed to fool people into voting for you. Khan is a friend of the rich elites who want things to remain exactly as they are where the poorest in society pay more tax and the rich get tax breaks. Shortly before his win he visited the London chamber of commerce and the city of London corporation and assured them that he would protect their interests at the expense of ordinary people he claims to represent. He is a calculating greedy puppet of the british empire and they will use him to do their dirty work. Just as obama was used to bomb africa, keep open guantanamo bay and overthrow anti imperialist nations on behalf of the us that's the same way khan will be used to implement unpopular policies which will affect ordinary people in london. London is one of the most economically polarised cities in the world with some of the worlds richest people living mere miles away from people stuck in generational poverty but nothing is being done to change this. Khan wants things to remain the same as long as the rich white elite throw him a few crumbs. He voted against an enquiry into Blairs invasion of iraq and voted for a no fly zone over Libya. He is a sellout and traitor to his race and class. The fact that he comes from a working class background has made him more hungry and desperate for power. Check whether by this time next year he will have honoured any of those promises he made.
