Guys don't let these telcos play on your intelligence, it's not about the price and the amount of data your given but rather the burn rate. Burn rate in the sense that when u download a file of 6MB how many MB actually leaves your data. Some device comes with data calculators, so this will further explain if this offer is beneficial of just another scheme. I remember downloading a file if 2MB and 2.7MB actually was deducted from my data balance. At the expiry of my 1GB, I discovered I used overall lesser then the 1GB but I got the expiry message.

so from your experience which of the network burn rate is more economical?

The 1k & 2k data plans are for androids....while others are for pc....u can't compare the data zappings.....if u use your android plans on pc, it will be like camel and water in the sahara.....

Look at this analogy for example.

1 litre of Fanta costs 200 naira.
It seems more economical when compared to 35cl which goes for 60 naira right?
But here's the catch...
The taste of 35cl remains distinct.
That of 1 litres is more of coloured water and sugar.

Speaking of the data plans...
Are you aware that the metering migh not be the same?
That it's 1.5Gb doesn't mean it's exactly that. On paper, it might be. But in reality, it could be exhausted more easily than that of the 8k subscription.

It started with Glo, then MTN and now Etisalat have joined in the league of those offering 1.5GB data at N1000. Other plans have been reviewed also. 3.5gb data is now N2000. We're now waiting for Airtel to put some icing on the cake of their N1000 data. No dulling.
I think this is a welcome development. Let's hope it only gets better.
However, 5gb data and 8gb data remain ridiculously exorbitant at N6500 and N8000 respectively.

Etisalat is surely guilty of this. I never get value anytime i subscibe to etisalat data.

The last one i did was 500mb for N750. By 11pm i had recieved a text that my data balance is 100mb, I turned on data savings on my opera browser stopped browsing to sleep. I woke up in the morning to find text message saying i have 10mb left by 4am and then minutes later another saying i have 5mb and the last one saying my data was exhausted while i was sleeping. Note my auto update function has been off like for ever. Etisalat cleared my data while i slept.

Glo is the cheapest no doubt but yheir network speed is wack. I envy those who have good glo network in their location.

Etisalat does not roll over data bundle for over a year i've been using etisalat never has any of my data been rolled over to a new subscription.
