If NLC didnt proceed with the strike 2mao, the best thing for them to do, is to send a regretful acknowledgement to the former president GEJ on Newspaper pages, bill boards and TV adverts for embarking on strike during his tenure.

A man left government a year ago, his image still loom larger than life. Another came a year ago, everything he touched turned to dust!

In the realm of hypothesis, many said we would have been worse! I ask, what can be worse than this? A government run by NEOPHYTES and APPRENTICES? No economic policies in place.

Today, I am not convinced on devaluation. Next day, we will devalue to reflect present reality. Just before you think there is hope, you hear deregulation where government fixes prices of a commodity they can't provide. In another breath, oh, thank God we have removed subsidy on petroleum products. Just before you Erupt hope, the Vice president said we have not removed subsidy.

They banned the operation of domiciliary accounts and just as you say mama, they reversed themselves with unpardonable collateral
damage to commerce. Their broomstick must have swept their brains into the 'odo ogun'!

Nigeria is no doubt an animal farm!

It is unfortunate that Labour has lost its voice in Nigeria. Its factionalization has mortgaged the future of Nigerian workers to get fair bargain from govt. Corruption in public service is encouraged when the remuneration of a pubic servant cannot take care of his basic needs. It takes the fear of God to serve Nigeria with honesty considering the state of our economy today. The government should know that the incessant increase in fuel pump price is draining the pocket of Nigerians especially the fixed income earners. Petrol is like the life-wire of Nigerian economy. Most businesses and homes depend on petrol-powered generators for their energy needs. The railway system in Nigeria is non functional so people either drive themselves or use commercial vehicles powered with petrol to transport their goods. It is really unfortunate that Nigerians are subjected to this periodic hardship by pump price increment. Government should think of other ways of generating revenue. The mining sector is almost in coma and the gains made in Agriculture under Dr Akinwunmi as a minister is almost eclipsed by the activities of herdsmen.

Cry off an over worked worker. My advice to you is while you are still in that job start plans for your business. You depend on govt. When will you enjoy life. Dont work to much and make no headway. I hope banks are not on that so called strike i need to get money there to continue my activities.

I agree with subsidy removal but disagree with APC's lacking in agenda. So the government should agree first to pay the new minimum wage across the the board and in all states before subsidy removal can take effect.

My brother they didn't even remove any subsidy. What happen is fuel increment.

Wait o, Nigeria government are really playing us. During Jonathan regime, he said he removed fuel subsidy and increase the price from 65 to 120/100. The NLC went on nationwide strike after some weeks they reduced it to 97 naira, still base on the subsidy. They claim to build new refinery and all sort. Now, a new government want to remove subsidy which the previous one removed.

This is preposterous. What are these people taking Nigerians for.
