No fuel pump in the tank only this that is driven by timing belt. No fuel in the common rail

After doing kazeem with the fuel pump car starts, steam for 15sec and go off

Fuel can get to the injectors now but without pressure, sometimes sucks air and little fuel

Any help?

A friend has a Mitsubishi FUso FE145 diesel engine that will only crank but wont start.

Vehicle was imported from America. here is the VIN just incase Siena is still looking at this thread.

Bus was kazeeeemed. 1985 mistubushi 90hp engine was later installed on it. Bus works fine but struggles to move cos of the low hp

Too bad. You were close to fixing the issue. What happened? Since work done on the engine made it start and idle for up to 10mins,, there was light at the end of the tunnel. Probably the owner put pressure on you to just change the engine. Last time i helped my friend, that was what happened.

Sad to say, but this car could be rescued .

Less kazeem, more technical skills.
The simplest way to fix it, was to put new fuel pump.

Did you get the issue resolved? I'm having the same problem here and it seem as if my technicians and mechanics are at a loss. They told me that the ECU was no good, but when I try it on another vehicle it starts the vehicle, so, I ruled out the possibility that the ECU is bad. I'm having them remove the pump to have it tested to see if the pump is the problem.

I can get it start if I prime the manifold, bu it cuts off when the line is empty, it will not rev either. So, the engine turn over but wont start.
This is the exact problem you had, please let me know how you solved the problem.

They didn't know a whole lot of things could be a cog in the wheel of a car's engine smooth running.
1. MAP/MAF,
2. throttle body (injector mouth)
3. Fuel pressure regulator/fuel pump too.
4. CKP
5....


They didn't check any, they went and kazeemize the hiace.

I had a similar problem with my bus. My rewire in Abeokuta resolved in under few hrs after checking every unit was intact, what the so called chief rewires couldn't fix in months..... 08037250290 is my number. He really understands diesel engines.
