here is a simple inverter connection which can easily be done by anybody and you dont have to empty your bank account simply because you want to buy an inverter
for those that dont know the meaning of an inverter , it is a device that converts a battery 12 volts supply to a usable 220v ac supply used by most house hold appliances
for this project you will be needing
1. an external charger (=N=14000)
2. a dc to ac inverter maybe 500w or 1000w {=N=12000]
3.a deep cycle battery , you can get 40ah, 65ah ,100ah or 200ah it all depends on the size of your pocket,
the higher the ah value ,the higher the price, the value of the AH simply signifies the capacity of the battery and the duration it will stay on load
40ah is not up to 10k, 100ah is sold for 35k 200ah is sold for 79k, so u go for you the one you can afford
some people might like to use a car battery or trailer battery, the truth is that they can actually work but they are not as efficient as deep cycle battery , deep cycle battery has thicker lead plate and can hold charge much longer,

LOAD RUN TIME CALCULATION
here i will tell you how long home appliancea will last when the battery is fully charged

lets say you have a battery of 100ah
you have a fan of 45watts
(You can check the watts ur appliances from the sticker at the back of it)
you have 2 cfl bulbs (energy saving bulbs) of 10w each =20w
a gotv of 12W
a plasma tv of 50w(on green energy saving)

then your total loads in watts is 45+20+12+50= 127w
so therefore (100ah battery x12v x0.8 )/(127w) = 7.559hours
so under two bulbs ,one gotv, one tv, one fan, all constantly on
you inverter will last for you for around 7 hours

the duration will multiply by two if you use a 200ah battery

so as you can see different battery ah gives different run time
the connection is pretty easy, simple and very efficient
the beauty of it is that when you are not at home, maybe at work ,
on the road or wherever it may be, as soon as nepa/phcn restores power supply,
the charger automatically starts charging your battery, as soon as the battery is fully charged,
the intelligent charger stops charging , if you eventually comes back home and there is no light,
you dont have to starts looking for fuel here and there, going to line up at the filling station to buy fuel
, in this case you just have to press a button and you have light that will last for you throughout the night

You can reach me on call/whatsapp 08037902606
remember to respect polarity in the connection, i.e the red cable from the charger/inverter goes to the red terminal(+positive) of the battery

the truth is that they can actually work but they are not as efficient as deep cycle battery , deep cycle battery has thicker lead plate and can hold charge much longer,
deep cycle battery is better than auto batteries

Its also possible to add battery in parallel connection
Parallel connection involves positive to positive connection and negetive to negative connection.
This also multiplies the AH value by 2
