Ignorance is the greatest curse on Nigeria, as I've always said. I'm glad someone brought this topic up. From top to bottom, Nigeria is a joke. I remember during Ojukwu's funeral, Okorocha was complaining to FG that SE had "only" 5 states and that it was "cheating". No wonder this starvation-prone country has 36 states and some are clamouring for more. May they rot in hell!

Save for Enugu that is interjected by 2 states, all the SE states queue in series behind Lagos as the smallest states in Nigeria. As a region, the SE is not up to many states in the country.

I really do not know why the federal government fractured the 2 original states of Anambra and Imo into 5 states. Infact, the single South Eastern state as outlined by Gowon, is all that should have been retained instead of these villages that have resulted from over-fracturing.

Oyo state that is position 14 by size, is about as big as the whole of the SE region, talkless of 13 other states in the country.

those BIG states,what do they contribute to the fed purse? Better be small and productive and progressive than be a big white unproductive,parasiting,useless,retrogressive white elephant whose curse is sealed in hell and who need the small 5% to survive.

It's embarrassing that SE, a region so small and requires less resources to develop, is second to the North in backwardness.

I don't normally quote people but I just did in ur case; U must be living in fools paradise to say south east is second to North in backwardness. Try and leave ur village and travel for once.
