Oga, maybe you should do the Google search yourself, know how news operate and come back to swallow these words

Maybe you should Google the word "misquotes" and be enlightened

Sensationalism at its best is what Table Talk was about

Hitler was already being seen as "Atheist" by the west even while he was killing atheists, the church couldn't just class him as Christian so they spread propaganda and called him atheist

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_views_of_Adolf_Hitler

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_aspects_of_Nazism

Lol this guy calls it western propaganda when Hitler himself was the chief propagandist and though initially it was difficult to read him eventually he was read and his very fruits spoke loudly. Too loudly to ignore. A mans words do not make Him....His actions do because an Action is a stronger expression than words are.

In a speech made later in 1933, Hitler claimed to have "stamped out" the Gottlosenbewegung atheistic movement.[15] The word Hitler used, "Gottlosenbewegung", means "Godless Movement" in German, and refers to the communist freethought movement, though might not refer to atheism in general. The historian Richard J. Evans wrote that, by 1939, 95% of Germans still called themselves Protestant or Catholic, while 3.5% were so called "gottgläubig" (lit. "believers in god", a non-denominational nazified outlook on god beliefs, often described as predominately based on creationist and deistic views[22]) and 1.5% atheist. According to Evans, those members of the affiliation gottgläubig "were convinced Nazis who had left their Church at the behest of the Party, which had been trying since the mid 1930s to reduce the influence of Christianity in society".[23] Heinrich Himmler, who was fascinated with Germanic paganism,[citation needed] was a strong promoter of the gottgläubig movement and didn't allow atheists into the SS, arguing that their "refusal to acknowledge higher powers" would be a "potential source of indiscipline".[24] The majority of the three million Nazi Party members continued to pay their church taxes and register as either Roman Catholic or Evangelical Protestant Christians.[25]

In Germany during the Nazi era, a 1933 decree stated that "No National Socialist may suffer detriment... on the ground that he does not make any religious profession at all".[15] However, the regime strongly opposed "godless communism",[16][17] and all of Germany's atheist and largely left-wing freethought organizations were banned the same year; some right-wing groups were tolerated by the Nazis until the mid-1930s.[18][19] During negotiations leading to the Nazi-Vatican Concordat of April 26, 1933 Hitler stated that "Secular schools can never be tolerated" because of their irreligious tendencies.[20] Hitler routinely disregarded this undertaking, and the Reich concordat as a whole and by 1939, all Catholic denominational schools had been disbanded or converted to public facilities.[21]

Why are you deliberately misinforming yourself?

Pop quiz: If an Atheist in the german SS is stopping other Atheists from joining his SS what does that imply?

A) Honesty
B) Deception
C) Hypocrisy
D) Deliberate Lies

On October 13, 1933, Deputy Führer Rudolf Hess issued a decree stating: "No National Socialist may suffer any detriment on the ground that he does not profess any particular faith or confession or on the ground that he does not make any religious profession at all."[169] However, the regime strongly opposed "godless communism"[170][171] and all of Germany's freethinking (freigeist), atheist, and largely left-wing organizations were banned the same year.[172][173]

In a speech made during the negotiations for the Nazi-Vatican Concordant of 1933, Hitler argued against secular schools, stating: "Secular schools can never be tolerated because such schools have no religious instruction, and a general moral instruction without a religious foundation is built on air; consequently, all character training and religion must be derived from faith."[174] One of the groups closed down by the Nazi regime was the German Freethinkers League. Christians appealed to Hitler to end anti-religious and anti-Church propaganda promulgated by Free Thinkers,[175] and within Hitler's Nazi Party some atheists were quite vocal in their anti-Christian views, especially Martin Bormann.[176] Heinrich Himmler, who himself was fascinated with Germanic paganism,[177] was a strong promoter of the gottgläubig movement and didn't allow atheists into the SS, arguing that their "refusal to acknowledge higher powers" would be a "potential source of indiscipline".[21]

Learn what? I've dedicated part of the last few months digging up things about Hitler

Don't get it twisted, he was a Christian but the hypocrisy of guys like you is what I'm here to lay bare

If Hitler had done good, there would be no talks of him not being a Christian

Now that he's bad, he's not a "Christian" you'll now start defining a "Christian" as "Christlike"

If we accept that definition, then we can't "know" who a Christian is

But your brothers were quick to call bill gates a Christian, even saying the richest people in the world are "Christians"

I'm sure if somewhere down the line, Bill gates turns bad, guys like you would say he was never a Christian

Hitler's ideas of Christianity was it being under Nazi, He wanted a unified church and was against atheism

The thing about atheism is that barely anyone is ready to die for it, I am not ready to die for atheism since we don't have a mythical heaven that we'll go to so most atheists were already almost wiped out towards the end of Hitlers reign, those that were quick to identify as religionists, those that went to exile and those that hid

Do you know what the role of Hitlers Bureau of Church matters was? Their role was to ensure all churches and religious persons pay a church or religious tax or levy and if you refuse then you must sign an undertaking that you are not a religious person. The purpose of this is to drastically reduce the power and influence of religion or Christianity in the society.

The German Freethinkers League ('Deutscher Freidenkerbund') was an organisation founded in 1881 by the materialist philosopher and physician Ludwig Büchner[1] to oppose the power of the state churches in Germany.[2] Its aim was to provide a public meeting-ground and forum for materialist and atheist thinkers in Germany.

By 1885 the group had 5,000 members.[1] The first organization of its sort founded in Germany, by 1930 the German Freethinkers League had a membership numbering some 500,000.[citation needed] The League was closed down in the spring of 1933, when Hitler outlawed all atheistic and freethinking groups in Germany. Freethinkers Hall, the national headquarters of the League, was then converted to a bureau advising the public on church matters.[3]

smh you are so slow bro.

The Atheistic/ freethinkers movement was not Hitlers problem as they were 5000 strong. His problem was the rest of Germany who were largely catholic, protestant and Jews. You still dont get it do you?

He can afford to displease 5000 so as to persecute millions of others who were not like the 5000.

The bolded was why i asked if you even know what the role of the German Bureau on Church matters represents. You think its a church or a church meeting place? OLODO

Its for the enforcement of Church taxes and levies and registration of defaulters and ensuring they do not partake in religious activities. If they are caught secretly carrying out religious activities without paying their levies or taxes then its off to Auschwitz concentration camp with you.

Lol chai this guy is so far from comprehending anything. A freethinker is one who forms opinions (usually in the context of religion) on the basis of reason independent of authority. He/She is not necessarily an atheist, agnostic, or anti-religion.

Per your screengrab i think you need to find out for yourself what the german Bureau on church matters was all about before you exhibit your ignorance. My convo with you is done.

I just gave you a few more posts for sake of courtesy as you cannot grasp or assimilate the simplest of discussions not even when you own the links and gave them to me.

This is hilarious grin

You were almost there and now you run away? Seems you have seen the trap from a mile off grin

Maybe you should find out what is about but not from Christian apologists websites

The screenshot; That's a newspaper bro

The ONLY book you took all your quotes from has been found to be not trustworthy by scholars, lots and lots of questions

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitler%27s_Table_Talk#controversies

You should've let this discussion go further, I would've shown you how he favoured certain sects of Christianity

But you live to fight another day

Not one scriptural quote from the Bible by him to back up his claims! What then? He never quoted any part as an inspiration to his actions, what then?

Anyone can say these things! Just last week a muslim on facebook claimed that because muslims wore beards they were the real Christians!!! shocked. Also, not one single scriptural quote by him, to back that claim!
he is behaving like winner01 because that guy never quotes from the bible and he is a so called christian so winner01 and adolf hitler are the same people different times
