The igbos hatred for Buhari is second to none. How will a sane person give a dog a whole president and commander in chief's name? This is the after effect of the negative messages Nnamdi kanu preached on his useless radio. He taught most of them to disrespect the president all because of their useless biafra agitations. I suggest this man be locked up and the keys thrown into the Atlantic Ocean. This will serve as a lesson to other unpatriotic IPOB yoots who found mentorship in Nnamdi kanu. How will the Igbo's feel if one names a goat Ojukwu? Biafra will never come sad

Are u afraid that if it comes u might die!

Actually the police have a case of breach of public peace if it is found that the suspect has done this to provoke his neighbors.

And yes the police can actuly hold him seeing as some criminals parading themselves as been offended have threatened to kill him if he is released on bail. He is being held for his protection.

Can you hold somebody in a stinking cell for protection?

Relax boss. You lot are already pushing the rest of the country there. You'll get your wish in due time. Good day.

Inscribing BUWARI on the dog turned the whole thing bad.... However we are in Democratic era, we all have freedom of speech and to express our thoughts. therefore the police should be diplomatic as to avoid being one sided..

He has the right to do whatever he likes with the dog. This religious thing is eating up into Nigeria. Hausas are always looking for attention . Trying to take rule. So because he is Hausa we can't do what we like. Did yoruba people not see it. Other ethnic group must have seen it. Na only hausas with Thier behaviour of seeking for attention. People named their God Obama. Obama children no arrest anybody.
You have chopped and changed the argument.
This is about one man and his disapproval of a neighbour calling a dog by his father's name.
The other tribes aren't bothered because none of them answers to such a name.
If there was no one to take his action amiss, this wount be an issue.
Since he is aware that the Hausaman's father also bears that name and the said name has a bit of political colouration to it,shouldn't he have been civil enough to rename his dog?
Or is Buhari the only name in the world?
And how will his kinsmen feel if an Hausa neighbour replicate the same thing in their region?

There's the rub.

Is buhari not a Dog.
Buharis new name is dog.
He thinks like an animal. And dog is an animal
So shall it be .
But young man next time name it Bubu. So that the dullards police wont understand.

Take a good look at the name, Fortemose Chinadokwe!!!! What does that tells us Defaults in Socio Cultural Values which is Perculiar to the Igbos and a few Southerners!!! Its very unfortunate that we have some blood thirsty Igbos and Southerners in Nigeria. Alot of these people have desecrated their land and have made their land abominable, hostile and inhabitable for strangers. No social harmony and no hospitality at all because alot of igbos and southerners are divided amongst themselves. that's why we have a hyped case of desperations, killings, fighting, religious coveteousness in the name of God and Gold with escalated cases of kidnapping in these part of the Country. It seems a handful of these people lacks the lacks understanding about the values of peace. Go check majority of these people personal life and business affairs, social ethics and you will see that they are by far worse than the Yorubas and Hausas they are trying to get out of the way for an headway in Politics and Political Relevance, the picture for most of these Igbos is usually Ugly because they are used to seeing life from the Ugly and gory perspective instead.

This attitude and socio cultural threadings are visible among both the Educated and the Non Educated igbos, when you see them you will know them because they will always show their hands sooner or later along with the stuff they are made off, they claim they are frank but to me most of these people are brute, crude, salvaging and unpruned in reasoning. Alot of them brag and don't believe in the concept of privilege yet they call the name of God the most among the Christian population. They believe what they earn they deserve by their own power and affronted efforts.

Most talk and act before they ever think. All these I have said may not be the truth, but its the fact!!! This is no attempt to rubbish the integrity of any Nigerian Tribe but we must be bold enough to look each other in the face and tell ourselves the ugly truth.
To be frank, My 3 best friends on this planet earth are Igbos, to include my beloved wife who is a gift from God to me and my inspiration and she happens to be from the Eastern part of Nigeria. I believe something good can still come out of these Nazarethans of Nigeria as we still have some great and dynamic names from the eastern part of Nigeria but the truth remains that some elements of weed and pack of wolves that surrounds them won't allow them to flourish and come to light.

Been brilliant is different from been intelligent. The Igbos have alot to learn from the Hausas and the Yorubas. The Igbo race of Nigeria will do well only if the Igbo leaders and followers can come together and ask themselves what went wrong and whats the way forward cause come 2019 election, an igbo candidate will be my Choice of Presidential Candidate, be it Charles Soludo, Dr Obiangeli Ezekwezili, Rochas Okorocha or Rotimi Amaechi. I believe in people who believe in the success and good will of Nigeria together as one.
Only miserable and misechieveous people will continue to have reasons for blood shed. Those who have nothing good can never have reasons to give anything good because they have nothing good to give. I use this platform to endorse an Igbo President come 2019. God bless the Igbos!! God bless Nigeria!! One love to my Igbo brothers and sisters who share in my opinion.

Why can't he name him ojuku since he is an Igbo not a northern person. If I may ask him the meaning of the name buhari I'm sure he cannot tell me, but had even he named him ojuku it will be very easy to tell. Watch out next time.

During the days of Obasanjo couples named their children.
During the days of Yar'Adua waiting mothers named their children Yar'Adua.
In the days of Goodluck there are multiple children named Goodluck.
But in their days Dogs are named Buhari.
Oluwa ki ori mi ma se buru.

A man can name and tattoo his property whatever he so wishes. A non Nigerian stumbling on this thread will be amazed how retardedd Nigerians must be, especially those who make an argument why this man should be arrested.

Wouldn't it be poetic justice if Seun comes on this thread and mentioned the name of his dog and coincidentally one of those who side with the police actually bears same name as Seun's dog.

Its unfortunate we live in a time when anything you say or do, as a meaning or is directly affecting someone or a group of people.
" A dog named Buhari" thats the biggest insult you can give to any human, moreso when the name is a reflection of your No. 1 citizen( muhammadu Buhari)
