Eyaaa Yusuf's singing is better on this elimination show. I guess it's too late in the game to realize that

Don't mind him, what we have been waiting for him to do its now he is doing it, mtcheeew too... Late, i guess he didn't know why he was chosen in the first place, they wanted that Fuji vibe; which he is capable of doing but unfortunately for him he didn't.

That is the performance that gets me confused when people on this thread say he can't sing! The hate was beginning to annoy me. Fine, he is far from the best vocalist, but that semi final shows he's got something and doesn't deserve the derision he gets. I just think he got confused in the house, he was trying too hard to prove he can do other genres but I love his attitude. He confessed he was even surprised he got this far. His attitude will surely help him. For those saying better singers have gone home, it's not as if those ones were even in the top five contenders, well maybe Favor, so I don't understand the fuss.

Yea I agree to a certain extent that the academy didn't improve him. It may be a case of him being slow to learn. I get the complaints about him but a lot of peeps took it over board using words that weren't right and that's why I called it hate l.

Now this is my honest opinion. From Lagos auditions till now, Yusuf's voice never wowed me. I was wondering what's so special about this guy or his voice to earn automatic ticket into the academy or top 24? I felt they could've given him the wildcard option at least.
There were sooo many good singers on that semi final night I could've easily replaced him with. No hate here I'm just speaking #Facts

Trust Kitay nah, no matter the difficulty of the song, he's coming through for sure
