Burning Desire To Relocate Abroad by Greenvilla(m): 10:51am On Sep 24, 2016
Hello nairalanders.

Please your advice is needed here.

I did my Bsc in the UK came back to Nigeria for NYSC and got a job in a new generation bank in Nigeria afterwards. Been working for about 6 years but lately I have been having this urge to move back abroad. My job has become a daily boring routine, hardly any promotion. I just have this feeling that I will do better abroad especially with this recession we are experiencing. If you were in my shoes what will you do.

NB
(My salary is above N200k - I have an EU passport)

don't fall for that cheap scam. The Op is a liar
He can't have an EU passport & be contended with 200k in Nigeria.
I am schooling in UK but currently working in Germany & work part time in Daimler & earn 65euro per day which is equal to #32,500

Start applying for work abroad whilst retaining your job in Nigeria. Be ready to spend on flight tickets to attend interviews abroad, it's a sacrifice. I don't know the kind of task you do at Zenith, GT etc, but banks like Barclays, JP Morgan, HSBC, Nomura and co will value your experience if it is relevant to what they do. They will also pay you well. With your experience, and if relevant, £40-50K is a fair deal at the minimum. That's good salary, even by UK standards.

If you don't have the time and need someone to help you initiate the job application process, I'm happy to do that..But on the condition that if you have online tests to write, you will do your best to write them. If you have interviews in the UK, you will come in for the interview. And when you get the job, I will get 12% of your salary for one year, i.e. if you get a job of 50K, I will get 6K for the first year. The other option is to bill you on your current pay, but doing that will be mean. I understand the naija hassle.

If interested, you may want to start by sending your CV. A 2:1 will help.

Guy, how did you reach this conclusion? Amazing!!!

There are many people with EU passport, UK education and doing bank work in Nigeria. Some people want to do professional work and are not moved by salary alone. Some people are only concerned about salary and are ready to do any type of work, whether or not it's in Marks and Spencer, Tesco, etc.

Everything different from our views does not have to be a scam..Except of course we epitomise all knowledge. Nobody existing epitomises all knowledge.
