Did you know the bible forbids us from eating snail (Leviticus 11:28-29), forbids a new mother from visiting the church/synagogue (Leviticus 12:4-5), forbids wearing leather jacket (Leviticus 19:19), forbids eating fat (Leviticus 3:17), eating seafood without fin or scales e.g crab (Leviticus 11:10-12) among many other things I don't have time to type. and yet you people still do these things.

My advice to you is to do what you think is right. If you want to follow what the bible says or does not say, you'll just be contradicting yourself because you've already broken more than of what the bible says you shouldn't do.

I'm a deist: I don't follow any religion. I was born a christian but God showed me that was a waste of time

Matthew 5:28 says that- Everyone who keeps on looking at a woman so as to have a passion for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Now u need to ask yourself a question- When I have a boyfriend or a girlfriend, will it make me to have a passion for my partner? When we spend more time together, is there the possibility that emotions will develop? Am I ready to get married now? If you answer these questions honestly, then you will know how to manage the relationships you keep with the opposite sex.

Bible never said you must not have a bf/gf.... nor did it say you should have one. In relationships .. it is always the man having the choice.. the say... the decision. If the guy can contain himself... then it is fine for him to lead a single (virgin) life. If he can't. ..then he should go find a wife... not a gf... not a prostitute... a wife. So if you want to follow Bible.. the guy choose you... and you be having sex... then you are his wife...you both should be committed and sign paper. If you are not committed.then you are fornicating. .....as I see it!

Never come across a verse that says not to have a gf or bf but have come across verses that says to avoid fornication and all sorts of immoral sexual acts. so, it depends on what u want to tag ur bf or gf to be. is it for sexuality? or for friendship and fun?
just like i have never in my life even with my spiritual eyes read that holding the Bible while praying and casting demons is more effective. well Nollywood and especially mount zions films can answer to that question.

NOTE THIS...Those things you listed there were the law of moses, jesus came with a new commandment,...for the law of moses was of sin and death, can you imagine that?...if you sin they stone you to dead instanta, would you have prefered such law to live by?...now, jesus came and showed us the way the truth and the life, and the law jesus came with was attached with mercy why the law of moses had no mercy, you can seen and still be forgiven....let me stop here first...


Now, unto the op's question....Having a bf or gf is not bad but what the both of you are doing in the relationship is where God is concerned .

List out the ten commandment let me point out errors there for you....to prove to you that the commandmrnt was faulty, the people that God gave the 10 commandment where they able to keep it??, the answer is NO...in one of the commandmends God said remember the sabath day to keep it holy, are you still keeping it holy??, answer is NO...Truth is, the law was too mechanical/hard for them to keep that's why jesus had to come redeem us from the curse of the law....

What exactly are you saying? that the commandments moses brought down from mount Sinai after spending day and nights in God's presence is faulty? the commandments that were written by God himself is faulty?
