You mean why Igbo girls chase Yoruba men? Why don't you ask them and get back to us?
Point of correction, I'm neither Yoruba nor Igbo and there's no reason to tell lies. Sentiments aside, I have seen some pretty Igbo girls but Yorubas take the cake. They are more beautiful than your girls.

Lies lies lies
From the pit of hell grin grin grin..
Now u are not yoruba... grin grin grin grin.
Re: The Beauty Of Yoruba Women by 1k001(m): 11:12pm On Oct 15, 2016
This should read: "The beauty of good hair, well done make up and attractive clothes". As the beauty portrayed here as more to do with these than the tribe the ladies originate from.

Yorubas don't say "ojo omo ibo", they say "omo jo ibo". And this has never translated to being pretty. It simply means being light-skinned like an Igbo girl.

Igbos are not prettier than Yorubas. They are not even in the top 5. That's just a lie you've been telling yourselves. And you know this which is why u felt the need to bring your "competition" to this thread.
But like u said, "no sane man can call his mum a bad cook" so we understand.

Show me the girls on ur Igbo threads with natural hair and no makeup. Your envy/hate for Yorubas didn't let you scan through the thread before commenting.

Nawa oo.
LOL! grin calm down man! I don't even know the difference between an Igbo and a yoruba besides if your hatred would let you, you would have read were i mentioned AFRICAN WOMEN no specifics, but hey! What do i know? But i know one thing west African women should be proud of their own hair and stop wearing of fake hair it makes them look ugly, fake and smell horrible. Ciao!

Make up and bleaching induced beauty. Nothing in the south west of Nigeria is natural anymore except beer. You see a woman/girl you think she very very beautiful. Just wait till she offloads all the packaging, you go see say all na low self esteem packaging. If you need a classical example. See the link below on how all are make up induced

I checked, the lady in that pic is not even Yoruba. The makeup artist is but you should have at least down a background check before coming here to type with your "proof". This painment is on a whole new level o.

Check this link https://www.nairaland.com/3115744/celebs-without-makeup-recognise to see what your sisters look like without it. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...................

Saying Igbo girls are not pretty and are not in top 5 is akin to saying tomorrow is Tuesday. I'ld leave you to guess which is a bigger lie.
Anyways lets appreciate the damsels posted on this thread. No need for hate n bad blood. Take it easy man.

I never said they aren't pretty. Go all the way up and read my comments. I only debunked the sham that they're prettier than Yoruba women. As for top 5, are you seriously gonna place them above urhobo, edo and hausa girls or even Fulanis? No bad blood, i stick up for Igbos when people are mean to them (if u followed my prev. acc, u'd have known) but the truth is the truth. Ciao!

I haven't promoted anything on this thread. You are the one screaming Igbo girls all over your posts and this thread is not even about igbo girls. You are the one talking from all the sides of your mouth. You are the one that said Igbo girls are not in top 5 in Nigeria. Im still amazed and you my friend are the one putting Igbo girls down to make yourself feel better.
I don't stand to gain anything from who's finer and who's not cos life is bigger than that but I just hate lies mixed with hatred and it's showing from all angles. Get something sweet to eat today, it would help you.

No bro. Read the comments from d first page. I have no hatred whatsoever for Igbos. I have more Igbo friends in real life and they're really nice people so why would i hate them? It is the Igbos themselves that started the e-war on this thread, making comparisons and since i created this thread, i had to put things straight. Those who have known me know i detest tribalism but they always spur the trouble on every thread that mentions Yorubas. I have family and friends from both tribes and we all get along well but that will probably never happen on NL.

I am igbo and I have Yoruba friends as well. My best friend is a Yoruba guy and we have known each other for 10 years. I have dated Yoruba girls as well and grew up with them but I can't come on nairaland and get riled up becos some dimwits are always screaming "afonja and yeast or Igbo or whatever those lowlifes exchange here for banter". I can't let it get to me. I don't even bother.i just read the news and move to another thread so you shouldnt let what people do here affect you.
Im not looking to do this who's prettier argument cos I came in here to see pictures of beautiful Yoruba ladies and have fun. No beef no bad blood. Anyways its cool. Apologies for any misconceptions. Cheers.

My best friends (guy and girl) are also Igbo. But we're cool. I guess both tribes can't really do without each other. They only attack themselves on NL and get along in real life. Cheers!.

Kai... I must say am disappointed... I was expecting to see natural beauties without makeup and fake hair and fake eye lashes... Even though they are pretty in their own rights but most if not all are in makeup. what's the guarantee that when these women wash off all the make-up, na the same person man go see...

Bros u no lie, it so happens dat I jst clicked on a bookmark of Fulani/northern beauties I bookmarked a while ago and den came to nl page and saw dis Yoruba girls beauty page as well, I must say the Fulani/ northern gals killed the contest cos dos fulani define beauty

I'm sorry to say but those Yoruba ladies being displayed are far from beautiful, all I see is make-up make-up make-up, if u mistakenly wash dia faces wat ud see mite leave u in a fantasmagoric state
