Bnladan:

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is mentioned by name in the Song of Solomon chapter 5 verse 16:

"Hikko Mamittakim we kullo Muhammadim Zehdoodeh wa Zehraee Bayna Jerusalem."

"His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters
of Jerusalem."

In the Hebrew language im is added for respect. Similarely im is added after the name of Prophet Muhammad
(pbuh) to make it Muhammadim. In English translation they have even translated the name of Prophet Muhammad     (pbuh) as "altogether lovely", but in the Old Testament in Hebrew, the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is yet      present.

See for yourself a commandment
When a woman has a discharge, if her
discharge in her body is blood, she shall
continue in her menstrual impurity for
seven days; and whoever touches her
shall be unclean until evening. Everything
also on which she lies during her menstrual impurity shall be unclean, and
everything on which she sits shall be
unclean. Leviticus 15: 19-20
When men fight with one another, and the
wife of the one draws near to rescue her
husband from the hand of him who is
beating him, and puts out her hand and
seizes him by the private parts, then you
shall cut off her hand. Deuteronomy 25:11-12

oga. Anyone who is educated and can read will see that the verse of the bible you put there is talking about a certain "beloved". Its a love poem there. Mohammed isn't anything that could have taken a prophetic figure in the Bible. The only thing the bible said about him and his kinds is that he is a false prophet. God help you.

Oga, you are right about the Truth being in the Bible. Jesus said; "I am THE way, THE TRUTH and THE life, no man comes to the father except by me " No human being ever spoke like He did. He is the ONLY mediator between GOD and man (1 Timothy 2:5). Trying to please God outside Jesus is an error. HE is the WAY and Truth.

1. Jesus (pbuh) taught that there is only One God an 1. Jesus (pbuh) taught that 1 there is only One God and Only God should be worshipped as taught in Deut 6:4, Mark 12:29. Muslims also believe this as taught in the Qur’an verse 4:171.

2. Jesus (pbuh) didn’t eat pork as taught in Leviticus 11:7 , and neither do Muslims as taught in the Qur’an verse 6:145.

3. Jesus (pbuh) greeted with the words “as salaamu alaikum” (Peace be with you) in John 20:21. Muslims also greet each other this way.

4. Jesus (pbuh) always said “God Willing” (inshallah), Muslims say this too before doing anything as taught in the Qur’an verses 18:23-24.

5. Jesus (pbuh) washed his face, hands, and feet before praying. The Muslims do the same.

6. Jesus (pbuh) and other prophets of the Bible prayed with their head to the ground (see Matthew26:39). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an verse 3:43.

7. Jesus (pbuh) had a beard and wore a throbe. It is Sunnah for Muslim men to do the same.

8. Jesus (pbuh) followed the law and believed in all the prophets, (see Matthew 5:17). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an verses 3:84, and 2:285.

9. Jesus’ mother Maryam (pbut) dressed modestly by fully covering her body and wearing a headscarf (hijab) as found in 1 Timothy 2:9, Genesis 24:64-65, and Corinthians 11:6. Muslim women modestly dress the same as taught in the Qur’an verse 33:59.

10. Jesus (pbuh) and other prophets of the Bible fasted up to 40 days (see Exodus 34:28, Daniel 10:2-6. 1Kings 19:8, and Matthew 4:1-Muslims do so also during the month of Ramadan. Muslims are required to fast the full obligatory 30 days (see Qur’an 2:183), and others take it a step further by fasting an additional 6 days to increase their rewards.

11. Jesus (pbuh) taught to say “Peace to this house” when entering it (see Luke 10:5), and to also greet the people in the house with “peace be unto you”. Muslims do exactly what Jesus did and taught. When we enter our homes and the homes of others we say “Bismillah” and also greet with “as salaamu alaikum” (peace be upon you) as taught in the Qur’an verse 24:61.

12. Jesus (pbuh) was circumcised. Circumcision is 1 of the 5 fitrah in Islam, so Muslim men are required to be circumcised. According to the Bible in Luke 2:21, Jesus was eight days old when he was circumcised. In the Torah, Allah/God stated to the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) that it is an “Everlasting covenant” (see Genesis 17:13). In the Qur’an verse 16:123 Muslims are required to follow the religion of Abraham. The Prophet Muhammad (saws) said, “The Prophet Abraham circumcised himself when he was eighty years old.” (see Sahih hadith Bukhari, Muslim, and Ahmad).

13. Jesus (pbuh) spoke aramaic and called God”Elah”, which is pronounced the same as “Allah”. Aramaic is an ancient, Biblical language. It is one of the Semitic languages that also include Hebrew, Arabic, Ethiopic and the ancient Assyrian and Babylonian language of Akkadian.
The Aramaic”Elah” and the Arabic “Allah” are the same.

FOR THE WISE

Jesus or Mohammed?

One of the fastest growing religions in the world today is Islam. Islam began in Arabia in 622 A.D. It was started by Mohammed, a camel driver who could not read or write. Mohammed became discouraged with idol worship in his home city of Mecca. He had learned from Jews and Christians that there is only one true God.

Mohammed claimed the angel, Gabriel, came to him. He said Gabriel told him he had been chosen to be the last and greatest prophet of Allah. At a temple in Mecca called the “ka’aba,” a black stone was worshipped. Three hundred and sixty idols were also worshipped there. One of these idols was “Allah,” the moon god. Mohammed said Allah was the one true god that all men should worship.

Mohammed also claimed that Allah revealed his will to him. This message came to him in various ways, according to Mohammed and his followers. Sometimes Gabriel appeared to him. Sometimes he had dreams or visions. Mohammed’s followers memorized these messages. After Mohammed died, they were written down. During the days of Caliphs Umar and Uthman, Mohammed’s successors, these “revelations” were collected together to form the Qu’ran (or Koran). The Qu’ran is accepted by Moslems as their holy scriptures.

Mohammed and his followers were persecuted in Mecca. They ran away to Medina in 622. Here Mohammed became the ruler of the city. He formed an army and robbed the rich caravans going to Mecca. Before he died, Mohammed’s army had conquered all of Arabia. Within a hundred years after his death, Mohammed’s followers conquered a great empire stretching from Spain across North Africa and the Middle East all the way to India. People who refused to convert to Islam were either killed or heavily taxed. Therefore, many became Moslems.

Is Islam the true way to God?
Is Allah the true God?
Is Mohammed the last and greatest prophet?
Is the Qu’ran a true revelation from God or is it the words of men?
These are important questions. Thousands of people are seeking the answers to them. Mohammed called Christians and Jews “people of the Book.” He taught that the books of Moses, the Psalms, and the Gospel accounts in the Bible are true revelations of God. What does the Bible say about these questions?

The Bible warns that a different message from the gospel must not be accepted even though it comes from an angel: I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. (Galatians 1:6-cool.

Mohammed claimed Gabriel gave him his message. But according to the Bible, we must not accept another message even if it comes from an angel. Moslems say the Qu’ran is God’s final revelation to man. But the New Testament, which was written more than 600 years before the Qu’ran, claims it is God’s final revelation to man (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:3; Jude 3). If the Bible is true, then the Qu’ran is false. Mohammed claimed the Bible was true, so according to his own claims, the Qu’ran must be false!

Was Mohammed the last and greatest of the prophets of God? Mohammed accepted the books of Moses (the first five books of the Old Testament) as being inspired of God. In one of them, God said He would raise up a prophet like Moses from among his brethren (Deuteronomy 18:15-19). The brethren of Moses were the children of Israel who were later known as the Jews. Mohammed was not a Jew. He was an Arab. Therefore, he could not be the prophet God raised up among His people. Who is the Prophet God raised up? The apostle Peter tells that this Prophet raised up by God was Jesus Christ (Acts 3:22-26).

Mohammed admitted that Jesus was one of the prophets of God. We know that a true prophet of God does not lie. Therefore, whatever Jesus said must be true. Please notice what Jesus said about Himself: I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for except ye believe that I am he, ye shall die in your sins (John 8:24). Jesus also said: I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6).

IS ALLAH THE ONE TRUE GOD? IS ALLAH THE SAME AS THE GOD WE READ ABOUT IN THE BIBLE?

The answer to both of these questions is no! The Bible teaches there is one God (Divine Nature or Godhood) (Acts 17:29; James 2:19). There are, however, three Persons who possess the Divine Nature. They are the Father (Matthew 6:9; Ephesians 4:6); the Son (John 1:1-3, 14; Colossians 2:9); and the Holy Spirit (Acts 5:3-4). Moslems reject the teaching of the Bible concerning the Godhead. They deny that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God (John 1:18; 3:16). Moslems claim to accept the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, but these books teach that Jesus Christ is God’s Son. The very books which Moslems agree come from God disagrees with their teaching.

We have learned that according to Mohammed’s own teachings, the Qu’ran cannot be the true word of God, nor can Allah be the true God. Neither can Mohammed be God’s prophet.

Mohammed was a strong leader of men. He formed an army and conquered a great empire. However, he was a false prophet. Therefore, his teachings must be rejected. Mohammed has led millions of people astray. Those who follow him are lost (Matthew 15:13-14).

Jesus Christ is the only Way to God (John 14:6). All spiritual blessings are to be found in Him (Ephesians 1:3). He alone can give eternal life (1 John 5:11-12). God, having of old time spoken unto the fathers in the prophets by divers portions and in divers manners, hath at the end of these days spoken unto us in his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds (Hebrews 1:1-2). We must listen to God’s Son today in order to be saved (Acts 3:23). God’s Son, Jesus Christ, tells us we must hear and believe His gospel (John 3:16; 8:24); repent of all our sins (Luke 13:3); confess Him before men (Matthew 10:32-33); and be baptized in order to be saved (Mark 16:15-16).

Which will you follow?

3. Jesus (pbuh) greeted with the words “as salaamu alaikum” (Peace be with you) in John 20:21. Muslims also greet each other this way.

So? When did that become a Law. The Apostle Paul and other Apostles of Jesus did that (Eph 1:2, Phil 1:2, 4:7, 1Peter 1:2, 2John 1:3). Many Christians do that. It's however not a must.

That's where you miss it. Jesus came to fulfill the law. When something is fulfilled, it's no longer needed. Jesus came with a new testament superior the law of Moses.

John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Jesus did not wake every morning to eat. He was in the wilderness. It was a dry fasting not the waste of time you do every year. Jesus even did not teach to fast 40 days. He taught to fast. Not at certain times of the year, not rising up early in the morning to eat.

Muslims do exactly what Jesus did and taught. The devil really twisted scriptures to confuse you. When Jesus said that, it wasn't a religious cliché. He said that in a way that suits the situation. The disciples were in terror, hiding.

Jesus was circumcised as a Jew. Nothing more, nothing less. It was a commandment to the Jews

This came to an end with the law in the new testament ;

Galatians 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Galatians 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

See day light robbery. Jesus's words are

Matthew 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Mark 15:34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Not Elah. It is Eli or Eloi. It means MY GOD.

"Eli" is of Hebrew origin meaning MY GOD. Eloi is of Chaldee origin meaning MY GOD. What Jesus said there is My God. Not Allah.

Stop confusing yourself and innocent minds with this your Allah thing.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Acts 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 4:11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Even Mohammed needed to be saved through Jesus Christ. Why should you follow an error in the name of a religion?

GOD WILL BLESS YOU. MORE GRACE SIR

Hmmmmm. What are you trying to insinuate? shocked Are you trying to say Muhammed performed magic instead of Miracles?
Ah otio. Muhammed performed geniune miracles gan.

Every time you see a split moon in the sky, that is Muhammeds mircle.
Have you ever heard that a man died but his manhood remained alive? Well, muhammed did it.

You know, Jesus of Nazareth (Not the Islamic one) transformed water into wine in a wedding ceremony which lasted only for that day, but muhammed transforms Camel's piss into lagar beer and its everlasting.

Muhammed the Miraculous.

You are cracking me up grin

Nbanu noo.. it teaches us how to jump dance and shout... what absurd question!... I just gave you the Surah, it is left for you to go and research what it says... Go read the Qur'an..

Bros - na simple question. Does it teach that Muslims should pray 5 times a day. The idea of performing Salat 5 times a day - where was it quoted in the Quran. It is a simple question - don't deflect the question. If you can't answer it, say so

Bnladan:
If u believe in Allah, prophet Muhammad S.A.W and disbelieve in other messengers of Allah, u re not a believer. If u believe in all of dem and fail 2 believe in Angels, the holy books, the day of judgement and predestination(the good nd d bad), u re not a believer. Lyk I said earlier, we luv Jesus nd believe he is one of Allah's messenger. Infact I can't be a Muslim if I dnt believe in dis.

Where in the Quran does it say that? The requirement to become a Muslim is that Shahada - the shahada doesn't require one to believe in other prophets to be a muslim Bros. It doesn't say "there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad and all other prophets are the messenger of Allah".

The requirement to become a muslim is only believing this "there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah". You can believe in Allah and it is still not enough if you don't believe Muhammad is his messenger. That is my point. Without a mere man like Muhammad, you can't be a Muslim. Even if you believe in Allah alone, it is still not sufficient.

So, the idea that you believe in all the other prophets is irrelevant because Muhammad is elevated to a status than all the other prophets and even as high as Allah.

Here I am humbled by your Majesty
Covered by your grace so free
Here I am, knowing I'm a sinful man
Covered by the blood of the Lamb

Now I've found the greatest love of all is mine
Since you laid down your life
The greatest sacrifice

Majesty, Majesty
Your grace has found me just as I am
Empty handed, but alive in your hands
Majesty, Majesty
Forever I am changed by your love
In the presence of your Majesty

Here I am humbled by the love that you give
Forgiven so that I can forgive
Here I stand, knowing that I'm your desire
Sanctified by glory and fire

The Hausas call God Allah, but Jehovah, the God in thee Bible is not ALLAH of the Quran! The way either of them operate is in opposition to eachother. Pls get "Who is this Allah" by G.J MOSHAY.
No hurt intended, bro.

The ONLY way to the Only True God is Jesus. Allah is a manipulation from the devil to lead men astray, destract and blind them from Jesus (2Cor 4:4), he (the devil) structured Islam for this cause.

Break free of the shackles of confusion. Jesus is the price of your entitlement directly to God (Romans 5:1). He was the sacrifice for sin. Anyone who accepts Him as Lord and Savior is free from the SIN nature freely (2Cor 5:21). This is not a Religion. It is the eternal Truth.

Very good, good comment, if He was born by Virgin Mary, my question is who is His father.?
If you think being born by without the contribution of the father guarantees one to be God, then there is another who was created without any parent. That is Adam. Is Adam also a son of God or is he God? Please open your mind to this fact and break the chains binding you to the belief that Jesus is God or a son of God.

I am not debating that you don't believe in other prophets. I am saying in Islam, Muhammad is given a higher level than any other prophet. To become a muslim, you have to confirm Muhammad alone is Allahs messenger. When muslims perform the Ahdan, it is Muhammad's name that is called. Muhammad instructed muslims to pray to him. Yet you say he is only a man.

Making Du’a (Invoking) and Praying to Muhammad

Muhammad instructed his followers to pray to him directly during their daily acts of worship:

Narrated Shaqiq bin Salama:
'Abdullah said, "Whenever we prayed behind the Prophet we used to recite (in sitting) 'Peace be on Gabriel, Michael, peace be on so and so. Once Allah's Apostle looked back at us and said, 'Allah Himself is As-Salam (Peace), and if anyone of you prays then he should say, At-Tahiyatu lil-lahi wassalawatu wat-taiyibatu. As-Salamu 'ALAIKA aiyuha-n-Nabiyu wa rahmatu-l-lahi wa barakatuhu. As-Salam alaina wa ala ibadil-lah is-salihin. (All the compliments, prayers and good things are due to Allah: peace be on YOU, O Prophet and Allah's mercy and blessings be on YOU. Peace be on us and on the true pious slaves of Allah). (If you say that, it will be for all the slaves in the heaven and the earth). Ash-hadu an la-ilaha illa-l-lahu wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa Rasuluhu. (I testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and I also testify that Muhammad is His slave and His Apostle)."
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 12, Number 794)

Please be honest when it comes to Muhammad as he is just not another prophet in Islam. He is revered and given a position higher than any other prophet and even given a divine status
