Please advice!
Can I use the money and pay with the next one?
I promised that when and if God gives me a job, I'll sow my first salary back to him. But now that it has come, I'm really broke and in need of the money. What should I do?
Any consequence for not paying it?

fulfil your vow,
its a test and from all indication i believe there is something bigger than this your present job that God wants to give you
because when and urge to give comes, its because an harvest is coming.
so if i were you i would fulfil the vow. dont eat the seed.

Op am a living testimony.

When things was very tight for me, i made a pledge to God that if he give a Job i will give him my first salary. Hmm

finally i got the Job, do you know that they delayed the money till 15th of the other month, which makes it 45 days. It was not really easy and the Devil come with temptation because thing was really had, even the salary was poor. I was like may be it is not God who gave me that Job lol.. And if he gives me the main one i will redeem my vow. But all this is a devils work.

One Wednesday then it was not this alert stuff. Then they pay with envelop, my people came to my work place and gave me my envelop. And that very day we use to have evening service, so i said to myself if i should wait till Sunday, something else will surely happen to it.

So i went straith to church and hand it over to pastor before he comes down from the pulpit.
I knelt down and start weeping.
And he prayed for me.

But today my life does not remained same again. Weather i cried or not but atleast i fulfilled my vow.

It is not easy actually, but may God give you the courage to do it.

I have been giving religion and the imaginary skydaddy my middle finger for a very long time, and I face my ups and downs myself. I Carry no mental luggages, no yokes and certainly don't owe anyone my incomes or any part thereof.

@op

You can still fulfill your pledge. Give a portion of your money to someone, anyone who really needs it as much as you do.
Giving to God is not and should never be equivalent to giving to church or giving to pastor.

The Fraud pastorprenuers twist and conflate the idea of giving to God and giving to them as one and the same.
Nothing could be further from the truth.

Y'all fulfilled Psalm 126:6

@OP, God doesn't need anybodys money but please give to Ceasar and God what belong to each ...afterall if you had pledged the salary in a shrine to one devil like that you would have sharperly paid it...

Just fulfill your part of the contractual agreement jare at least you'll learn not to be in a hurry to make pledges going forward grin

Can I use the money and pay with the next one?

Any consequence for not paying it?

Does God spend money?

During Last General Election, I Vow my own all my pay and allowances to God and to avoid spending it, I gave it to someone to keep.
During the second election I have not more than N70 with me and we were given 2k for feeding that day. in the evening of that same I was so hungry, temped to spend from the money and return the money later, also seeing my colleagues eating better food the temptation is so high, BUT I DISCIPLINE MYSELF

Now am still alive, receiving the dividend of faithfulness.

It is better not to vow than not fulfilling it, there are many in the Bible who vow and fulfil it thereby reaping the reward.

THIS IS YOUR OWN TRIAL OF FAITHFULNESS

By the way if you did not get the Job in the first place will you still have the money?
Let the word of God guide you, and I know you have decided what to do that why you still thinking otherwise
What if in the next few days another God had prepare something bigger?

I will no tell you what to do?

SHALOM!

A shrewd man named DICK GREGORY made the excellent point:

"IF YOU THINK THAT YOU CAN PRAY TO GOD,
AND THAT HE ANSWERS YOU,
WHY PRAY FOR HIM TO GET YOU A JOB,
SO YOU CAN HAVE MONEY?
WHY DON'T YOU PRAY
FOR HIM TO GIVE YOU THE MONEY?"

The Truth is, that that is not really what you people do.

You DON'T BELIEVE that you are dealing with GOD.

THE PREACHERS ALL AGREE THAT YOU MUST HAVE A JOB- EVEN THOSE WHO APPARENTLY OPPOSE AND DESPISE ONE ANOTHER.

That is because THEY ARE ALL DECEIVERS TOGETHER, working for THE SAME ANTICHRIST.

The SHALLOW MIND will say that they say that, because they want 10% of your earnings.

NO! Your MONEY is NOT important! Your TIME that YOU WASTE earning is important!

Otherwise you could be using it to DESTROY their Master's Kingdom.

Couldn't have THAT...!

This is just a TROLL POST.

You are not in any such situation.

You are not a Christian.

A Christian would go to his Brethren for help.

Never make an oath concerning anything. It's very unwise.

But since you have, talk to the person you will be giving it to to help you survive till your next salary. It's the least they can do. You were not specific as to where you will "sow" it, we're you? make the deal first before giving it

I implore you to sow in the right place ,on a fertile ground . Sow that seed in the Lord's Chosen , you don't need to be a member to do so . You'll reap bountifully . You made a vow and it is incumbent on you not to renege on your promise to God .

God does not spend money, but the money is used to propagate the gospel. The Op made a vow, willingling to God, let him fulfill it.

First of all, your effort gave you the job and not a particular god. Almighty GOD doesn't give job because job is man-made. Almighty God, in the form of Nature gives light, air, water, but not job. If you want to sow your first salary at all, give it back to your employer because he or she was the one one who gave you the job. ALMIGHTY GOD isn't interested in people's money... only men are. They'll suck you dry and use your money to build university for themselves undecided

my brother,my little contribution is that,God, does not look at your present situation, all He knows is faithfulness, do what you promised,as an agreement between you and him,or do you think that is because of the request you made for Job, that brought that Job,no,is because the time for it has come, everything works according to time and destiny.

Deu 23:21 — Deu 23:23
When thou shalt vow a vow unto the Lord thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the Lord thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee. But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee. That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the Lord thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.

Acts 18:18
And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow
