Ogun Governor, Amosun, Reshuffles cabinet by deantimes(m): 3:25pm On Oct 19, 2016

THE Ogun State Government has announced a reshuffle in the membership of its Executive Council.

The exercise affected four Commissioners and four Special Advisers to the Governor.

Those affected include Ronke Sokefun, who before now was the Commissioner for Agriculture.

Sokefun moves to the Ministry of Urban and Physical Planning.

Bashorun Adebola Adeife, who used to be the Commissioner for Urban and Physical Planning, now moves to the Ministry of Inter-Governmental Affairs.

Also affected is the erstwhile Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Barrister Leke Adewolu, who now superintends the Ministry of Special Duties.

One of the newly sworn-in Commissioners, Abiola Kufile-Okonji, is now in charge of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, while a Consultant to Governor Ibikunle Amosun, Ronke Onadeko, will oversee the Ministry of Agriculture pending the appointment of a substantive Commissioner for the Ministry.

The affected Special Advisers are the Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing, Bayo Adeyemi, who now moves to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology; Yinka Odufuwa, hitherto of the Ministry of Agriculture, moves to Forestry, while Akinola Lawson, formerly of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, moves to Special Duties.

Others are Segun Adesanya of the Ministry of Special Duties, who moves to Youth and Sports, while Gbenga Opesanwo is in charge of Transport.

The reshuffle takes immediate effect.

Have never seen a governor has useless as Amosun.... He knows nothing about governance. Ibafo, Mowe and environ has been in perpetual darkness since 11years, no road, no security... it has never been worse. I hope Lagos State govt over this area

unpaid 12 months salary deduction, pension arrears was paid last in 2012.

Asking a lame man to run is asking for too much. This man runs one man show. This is one governor that lacks focus and vision despite next and close to Lagos State,yet he can't see.

when will this man come and hpl the people alagbole, akute, ajuwo, lambe, why destroy the only link road to this area and leave them without any road, nor average fixed one, if you can't build the road , please use PPP scheme and get the place fix; i wonder if his govt known the huge amount of revenue he is miss out from not making these area livable, fix the place and tax as you wish

Amosu is a senselesss Governor...he practise nepotisim, and embezzele teachers salary for over 14 months, he refused to promote those that are due since last year they have completed their promotion exam. Leave bonus of workers iis kept in his Saudi Arabia bank (2 years now). Pensioners are not paid, what do you expect Ogun pensioners to eat when you delay their salary for years?. He promised to over free education. Ask him why 2016 WAEC result is not released online by now. Ask him why his delaying WAEC result of 2016 students in Ogun. All he can do is to conduct fake election in Ogun state and divert remaining salary of ogun state workers for over 14 months. Very soon the ogun workers will go on strike insha Allah Sai Amosu! Sai Barawo!!
