The modern christian perspective preaches sowing of seeds, payment of tithes in cash and many other convinent misteachings. They go to the old testaments and pick out areas of their benefit. They ignore the laws in the book of leviticus but run to malachi to preach tithing.

Yet same people forget that God once loved animal offerings according to the holy book, same charlatans forget that jesus's story and teaching on which the new testament is based never said anything on payment for God's blessing (sowing of imaginary seeds) nor tithing.


Christ himself in his ministry never demanded payment of any kind but lived on the goodwill of the people. He never taught that God's healing or blessings was for sale, he never taught that thosse who do not put their faith in material offerings of money in form of seeds or tithes will never receive the lord's mercy. Yet the charlatans scream to the high heavens that our God who has built many mansions for the blessed in heaven needs our depreciated naira before he blesses us or heeds to our prayers.

The teaching of christ seeks a spiritual goodness, a onesness of the man spirit with his maker. That all men should treat his fellow man as God. Cos we must love our neighbour as oursleves and only then can we claim to love God.

God isn't intterested in our givings on earth, he expects a noble sacrifice of his people and not materila sacrifice, thus to all the sheeples in churches run by charlatans. Our God is not a poor God and seeks not ur tithes and seeds, rather use such monies to better the lives of the poor and needy around you as that's how you can show works of mercy and in turn receive God's blessings.

Heaven will never be sold to the highest bidder, to the wealthy nor to the evrr giving. The story of the widow's mite will encourage you to understand that God sees your intentions in this world rather than your giving of worthless material things.

Well paying tithe isn't bad, the bad thing is how pastors emphasize on it. It's sickening.

Mr OP don't say what you're not sure of. If you're a true Christian and you study your Bible very well not only just going to church on Sundays and listen to what a Pastor says, the Bible itself has said it all. Read Ecclesiastes 12: 13-14.

and where you quoted depicts a direct teaching of jesus christ ? Why not read the post with some understanding before commenting.
