waooo! good to be here is been awhile, congrats to those that have given birth and congrats to pregnant ones. Udoka and favoured gal congratsoo ,so happy for you guys. just started trying for my third still believing on God to grant my heart desire.

Hi preggy thread.... It seems soooo lonely here. I kp refreshing to see if there are new posts but I see none. I never see anyone in the peeping mode. Guess we're all busy wit adorable lo's. I'm new here. I got pregnant after ttcing for 2 yrs. It's a whole new experience 4 me & I hv a lot of questions for experienced mamas here. I'm currently 8wks pregnant but scan says 6wks so don't knw which I shld follow. Wen do I start antenatal? I'm a total jjc and will appreciate ur inputs.

Welcome lovelymom29, congratulations. I think scan is more accurate. That been said, first of all you need to start taking folic acid as soon as possible and eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Other sabi mamas may add more advice but I would say the right time to start antenatal is now. You need to start as soon as you are aware of your pregnancy. May God keep you and Lo.

Yeah it's been a while, I've been busy with baby as I'm just going back to work next month. 20 months maternity leave no be beans. Okay will start weaning, maybe by next month will stop totally. Thanks so much.

Hi everyone,
I av been having irregular period since I got married, I menstruate Arnd Dec ending and since Dec till Feb ending I didn't c my period.
I got to knw I was preg Arnd d Feb ending after a home test. Was so happy conceiving few months after marriage buh den I started spotting which later led to serious pains with bleeding and I had to go for evacuation in April
Since April till June I didn't c my period just some spotting so I went bak to my Dr who prescribed primolut N after confirming I wasn't preg. I took d drugs twice daily for five days and two days later bled heavily for abt 7 days which was early July. Nau am so worried and confused cos av nt seen my period. Done preg test and it's negative. I also have dis back pain dese days. Kindly help with some advise pls

So I have rehearsed how I wld announce my bfp on dis wonderful forum a couple of times, the wait was an amazing journey, bitter and sweet, but above all I am glad to say I have conquered TTC big time. Gosh it still feels like a dream, sometimes I ask my self If am truly pregnant. So I am 5 weeks and 4 days today. Am taking things easy, aside from my hubby, my mum, and my sibling no one else knows yet.
My marriage ll be 7 years come next year and we have been trying even b4 we got married, so it's been a long journey, and I sld point out dat ours was unexplained fertility issue, aside from d fibroid I later discovered three /two years ago which I was told wasn't even disturbing conception, I did iui with st Ives it didn't thick like four years ago, we were already saving up money for ivf with the bridges I have even called to book an appointment, I called on few close relatives to help with d cost of d ivf.
Financially we Cldnt avoid d ivf we already planned on selling a piece of land we own and one of d cars,in short it was already on d market,and I must say dat prior to now dat we decided to go for ivf I had almost given up on myself and even my marriage, I was already planning to relocate and than call hubby to move on, that am not interested again, not that he has not been supportive o, I just got tired of every thing.
Anyway to God be d glory I ll post widd soon!!!

As I type my LO 1 & 2 are WIDE awake. I go hide for bathroom cos one is karating and the other is dancing to sing along songs.

On a good day I scream my son's name 30 times...but I would not trade this sleepless nights for anything.

I guess am trying to say am grateful to God for His blessings....and that I miss gisting with my sisters here.

Good evening doctors pls I want to explain my results to me extensively. The result say I have an septate and anechoic cyst of 55m X 44mm and an hypoechoic mass noted at the submuciod level of the uterus and it measures 13 mm x13mm its slightly impinges on the endometrial plate. At the bottom he wrote an ovarian cyst and submucosal fibroid. The reason I went for the test is that since Aug I and my husband has been trying to get pregnant and av bin monitoring my cycle which is normally 27days regular; but the last period was painful and d pains lasted 2days with heavy nd thick clots in between which is unusual (period lasted four days but stained pants with brown stains lasted 7days)the pain was majorly on my stomach and it felt like i was having indigestion from eating apple which is unusual if i want to urinate my lower abdominal area will pain me after urinating it will relief me the lab Scientist pressed my right side if am feeling any pain cuz of d cyst I said no....so my questions goes does what are my chances of getting pregnant with 13 mm x10 mm submucosal fibroid? He said its too small but what if it's effect will be big secondly what can I do for d ovarian cyst to dissappear or revolve ? What r fertility drugs u can place me on? My husband too has gone for his test too when it's out i will let you knw. Can fibroid be treated herbally? Can drugs be taken to shrink it no matter hw small? I don't have infection cuz I did both viginal swab abdominal and pelvic scan...pls just explain to me in a way I will understand. Tnks so much i have never aborted or gotten pregnant (just started trying Jan but fully and started monitoring ard aug)am nt over weight or underweight.
