I know a lot of guys who have met me asking how to teach there choir group parts/Harmony or maybe you have been on the keyboard at some point in time and your music director ask you to give Tenor/Alto there parts and Co and you got confused on the seat...

The first step is to get your learning materials ready. The first, being your own personal keyboard in your own living space. Not that of your church, not even a borrowed one. Cuz this alone can spell the difference between learning something within 3 months versus 9 months.

I know how to pick out the chord progression, pick out the notes of a melody, what I'm having problem with is combining the progression and the notes in a way that would flow while singing. I also wanna learn the Nigerian highlife makossa movement

olden versions don't have octave button. And I was also shocked the day I saw a keyboard without transpose button. Each time the keyboardist wants to play he begs the singer not to change key If not na end of service be that.
