The cold room will by @ a much lesser price, say 800-900 depending on a lot of factors (i do not know the current selling price @ the moment). The cold room buys per kilo in dressed weight, and not live weight as you assumed in the estimate above.

After dressing, a 2.5 kg bird will weigh around 2kg give or take. Thus the selling price will be the price/kg multiplied by the dressed weight. Of course extra cash can be made selling the gizzard, legs, and the head. Also the cost of dressing should also be taken into consideration, especially when a large number of birds are involved.

If I sells at 1100 now it is at production cost, well, I intend to sell at Xmas though I will be selling as orders come.. Will be selling at 900 today Shaa. I need to reduce their number..

Are you assuming the bird will weight that much after killing/dressing? You have to factor in many things if you are selling to cold rooms. Please don't make it sound easy.

How old are they...You can use lactose-bacillus and ferment their feeds.

Where I am it is sold by kilo and here a killo is 900 so u can't buy full chicken as 1 kg
Its not qual but broiler

Now if a bird weighs 2.5 life weight after dressing u will be looking @ 2kg and I have been into supply of dressed chicken but recently I couldn't meet up with demands from the eatries I supply cos at the begining of each circle we usually sign bond on how many kg to be supplied and sometimes my problem is labourer who will always come up with reasons to mess up the job so currently am re starting the biz cos it pays and from what I do the least amount gain on each 6wks broiler is 800 so multiply by quantity

U can move around eatries , frozen food shops and try to negotiate with them if u around osun , ondo oyo I can help u with a contact of 2000 live weight 6wks broilers so the choice to beieve or not is urs

But its real zartech farms alone supplies more than 4 trailer load of frozen chicken daily and if it bad as u said they willnot be doing it till now

I administered 1ml per 750ml but was told to reduce to 0.5ml per 750ml solution.

When the place was covered from sunlight, the birds became relaxed.

Dressing is done by Hausa boys for 20 naira per bird. These shops buy as much as 200 chicks at once.
