An average yoruba man will point accusing fingers on igbos that they are tribalist When they are more tribalists than igbos.. I notice that yoruba mums dont allow their daughter to marry igbo men except the daughter insisted. There are many factors, to name a few 1. cultural differences 2. language barrier 3. when you get married in Nigeria, you marry into the family as a woman 4. Fear of not passing on the culture and traditions to the grand children because if you marry, you marry into the family as a woman 5. Historical stupid prejudice that continues to get passed on blindly 6. ignorant tribalism 7. operating on what they heard about the behaviors of the other side 6 Likes |
