As you began, I thought I was in for some amazing information...

But I know the one about the ATM Pin to be false... And then without even having to waste my time, I know that battery reserve one is utter crap.

That car door one is also probably 100% bull. No I haven't tested it, but my basic understanding of science says no. Like... Just... No.

Here's one I've personally confirmed... A phone camera will display IR. Point a remote at your camera and you'll see the red light on your screen. Not of much practical use except finding out if your remote batteries are dead.
