Good to know you lost weight.
The only thing I know about muscle loss is that long distance running results in muscle loss. Short distance builds muscle.
It is not always good to constantly do the long run thing.
No sure that's what you are looking for.

touch someones head sit up(don't know the name wink, will check. In this, your partner holds you down by your toes. You lift the whole body from your sitting position and then touch his shoulder or kill the flies above his head depending on your strength)
Sprints
Seated oblique twist
One hour swimming

Many paths there are to weight loss, or more correctly, fat loss.Caloric reduction, as in, reducing one's food, is number one.High intensity exercise is number two, because of its afterburn effect.Supplementation is number three.We don't get all our nutrients from food, so it's a no-brainer, then, that supplements will help, in part, to lose fat.

@Ozycy,happy for your success! You may think it's little, it's not and you should be proud of this achievement.What you've done is that you've subconsciously offset your SET POINT,that's the body's ideal weight.This set point remains the only realistic way of moving the body away from where it is to where it wants to be in terms of getting lean or losing fat.
Going forward, you can achieve your set goal with SMART TRAINING.

Burpee jumps 2x10 reps with some insanity work out routine in between. All for 5 minutes.

1 hr swimming mainly butterfly stroke

I notice dat weneva I go squats or stairs climbing I always experience a sharp pain on my right knee cap. pls wats d cause n aw can I treat it.

I've used pain killers n balms its still persistent. thanks

Check your form. Improper form can cause injury.

When you climb the stairs? Does this happen every time you clime the stairs? Maybe you might want to check with the doctor.

Howdy my people??! Longest of the longest time oo. Just checking in to see if this thread was still active. I hardly visit Nairaland site these days sha...

Anyway I'm doing good. Well to catch you all up whilst I've been away I don become marathon runner o lol..
No be small thing o, I run races and get medals etc lol who would have thought?!
My days of Billy Blank Tae bo and Jillian Michaels are over..infact dvds in general.

I love the great outdoors, rain or sunshine winter or summer- I'm out there enjoying my runs.
This is what has helped me reach my target weight this year and keep it off so far.
I joined a running club to keep me motivated and on top of my game.
I'm able to eat and not diet and still enjoy my food whilst maintaining my trim figure. I still do some cross training with free weights and ride my bike.

So that's me so far.

Hope everyone is cool, keep doing your thing guys. Health is wealth.
