I stopped looking at your screenshots when I saw the part where the guy said "I am a covenant Child of God"

The moment somebody starts invoking God while transacting, please flee. It's almost certain that such person is a scammer. Covenant child of God indeed.

Also, don't be in a haste in doing a transaction especially with a stranger.

There's no two way to it the guy is a scammer. The card was used by him. My uncle confirmed the time. The screen shot he sent na fake. Noticed the difference between the timestamps on those chats and the time he screen shotted th chat?

You're absolutely right, I'll admit I was a lot careless this time, normally I don't fall this easily.

The covenant Child of God and the part where he said he doesn't know what nairaland meant should have rang a serious bell but again I was sloppy. Disappointed at myself really.

Did he state why he refused to credit your account or if he intends to do so in the nearest future? Yeah some scammers take their time before they strike, even though five years is pretty long, we can't underestimate these scammers. I would have taken down his handle but I don't want to jeopardize your chances of getting paid. Let's give him a little more time and see if he will deliver.
