There is no ambiguity on which side the entire Yoruba fought during Nigeria/Biafra war. Sometimes I wonder why any Yoruba person should not be proud on fighting alongside northern region of Nigeria during Nigeria/Biafra. It is plain idiocy to attempt to shy away from the acts of recorded events.

i really dont know for others but, the reason i support igbos pulling out of nigeria is to get their population back to igboland. Any thing that wud stop or gradually decrease the mass migration out of igboland, i'll support. Secession wud leave igbos outside their region wit only 1 option,that is to go home. The neglect of se has made igbos almost totally dependent on other regions. I see biafra as a way of achieving that independence esp economic independence. But as a start igbos must start investing home agressively esp major infrastructure. True federalism/ state autonomy is another policy i support as it wud force igbos to channel their wealth home as there wud be no more free oil money. Above all, in an igbo nation, an igbo man wud always be at the top as president and cant work against the interest of his own pple.

The constitution does not recognise secession or referendum or Sovereign National Constitutional Conference.

1. We need to get the constitution amended to recognise the aforementioned. This can be done with a bridge building and alliance of NC, SW, SE and SS.

2. Afterwards convey a SNCC where a new constitution will be written with full an explicit insertion of referendum and secession into the new constitution.

3. Based on the new constitution, call for referendum that will be supervised by UN.

4. Based on the result of the referendum activate the secession clause.

This was th peaceful process of dissolution of Yugoslavia and USSR. Those nations constitution supported it.

The question has always been who in the UN Security Council will back a secession without a constitutional backing of the Sovereign Nation? None, because all of them have secession cries in their backyard --- China has Tibet and Taiwan, Russia has Chenchya, US has the State of California and now Texas, UK had Scotland, Canada has Quebec, Spain has Basque and Catalonia, France only gave semi-autonomous status to Monaco.
