I know this lecture is centered around sothink but I will appreciate ur view about this;
I can use coreldraw to some extent. But I noticed many designers on fiverr use illustrator. Should I learn how to use illustrator for the sake of fiverr or I can just design with coreldraw and render it in .ai format.

If you can use corel draw to come up with logo designs particularly the shapes and colors. Its very okay since corel is also a vector app..then you can use it...you might want to render your works in different formats like AI,EPS,PSD,PDF this is where illustrator can help you out.

If you have the chance learn illustrator too cos its beast when it comes to forming anything especially mascottes ,web icons etc.

It does not use layers...

but try exporting the .svg format from sothink to illustrator then to wherever you need it.

No. It does not have 3D EFFECTS... it cannot do complex 3D except manually formed....

These were made with Sothink...

Well done ...keep practicing..keep researching and reading designs...it is very important .....flip through as many great logos as possible let the visual elemensts stick..


As for this new sample...this is na improvement...

Download Gotham font...Use medium bold...

This font is too thick...reduce the mouse....try other colours combinations...you can try colour combinations of any sample design you find online...stop/reduce coming up with colours yourself if you ain't good with colour theory...so get inspirations on online

This is simple. Finish your logo on SoThink, export as SVG, import it to Adobe Illustrator, export as PSD then load on Adobe Photoshop then apply the mockup.

I can do little contributions to this thread. I have Adobe Illustrator CC 2017 64 bit, Adobe Photoshop CS6, SoThink and VectorMagic... All cracked. These are the stuffs you need for your graphics.

Photoshop is a paid software but you can find the crack version online. just like bestspoke adviced, visit a computer store to get the software. it's better that way.
