That i havent been able to make friends with anyone. The time had come when i needed to change into a new leaf. I was letting go of Nathan right now. Yes i loved him. I still loved him till now but i certainly didnt see a future with him.

It was over now.

I closed my eyes and sighed.

'why did you even come with Nathan?' i heard Kainene say and my heart skipped. Yes, it was time fo her to ask the question i knew she had been dying to ask me.

'Nathan?' she called.

'yes honey. We met at the company. She came to see me but i couldnt talk with her when i was in a hurry to rush down to the station, so she insisted on coming along, i couldnt argue with her so i agreed'

'tell me why i should believe you now' Kainene said.

I smiled and turned back at her 'i understand that you have every right to get suspicious now Kainene, but you have to believe him now. I had the mind to confront him about my pregnancy today'

'your pregnancy?'

'stop the car!' Kainene screamed suddenly.

'what? Why? I mean...' Nathan stammered, then looked at me.

'i said stop the motherfucking car or i fucking jump out of it! Stop it now!' she screamed.

Nathan swerved to the left immediately and stopped the car. She came down immediately.

'whats going on?' i heard Kaka mutter say before going out of the car as well.

Nathan stared murderously at me.

'i'm sorry. I slipped. I swear it wasnt intentional' i fidgeted.

'i'm coming back for you' he rushed down of the car as well.

I hesitated for a moment before i also came down. I saw them arguing by the side of the road. Kaka was trying to pull Kainene from entering the cab Kainene had already flagged down and Nathan was trying to plead. Tears stung my eyes. Was i really badluck? How do i solve this mess now?

I moved close to them and Kainene stopped struggling. She stared daggers at me 'you! You've finally gotten what you wanted abi? You've always wanted Nathan right? Fine! Now you have him! Eat him! Screw him, do whatever you like with him, i dont care anymore!' Nathan tried coming closer to her but she pointed a warning finger at him 'dont you dare! Dont you dare come close! Its over between us, do you hear? Go back to your babymama, your fucking pregnant mistress, i dont want you anywhere near me any longer, you bloody cheat of a liar!' she barked.

'baby you cant do this. We cant stay apart. Remember Kainene...remember...Kaka please talk to your friend, you know what i'm talking about' Nathan pleaded.

'it didnt work! The blood convenant isnt working!' Kainene blurted out. I grimaced. Blood convenant? In this modern day and age? Was somebody fucking kidding me?

'Kainene...' Kaka gasped holding her.

Kainene shrugged it off 'leave me alone! That blood convenant holds no power. Because if it does, you wouldnt have been screwing your mistress even going as far as impregnating her without you running mad! So leaving you wont make me run mad because you've been fucking behind my back!'

'i've not been sleeping with anybody Nene!' Nathan said throwing a fist in the air, then he forcefully held my hand 'common! Tell them the whole truth, tell them i'm innocent! I'm not responsible for this pregnancy, please tell Nene that!'

I winced 'Nathan...you're...you're...hurting me'

'shut up and say the truth!' he barked.

By this time, Kainene and Kaka had already entered the cab and zoomed off.

'fvck!' Nathan cursed and ran after the car. He couldnt match the pace and he soon came running towards me. He had so much fury and anger in his eyes and i knew what was coming next if i didnt run. And so i took to my heels, he kept chasing me. I ran as fast as i could.
I ran like i've never ran before. Nathan was a mad man. I didnt know what he'd do to me if he caught up with me.
As i ran along the street in the night, i kept screaming for help. The streets were lonely (i had already ran all the way from the major road into the first street i could find) except a few people here and there who instead of helping me watched us.

I suddenly became weak. My legs could no longer carry me. I still tried.

'Nathan please i'm sorry! It was never intended! Please forgive me!' i begged weakly as i ran. I could hear his pants behind me and i knew it was only a matter of time before he held me.

Suddenly i felt dizzy. It felt as if the world was revolving around me. I felt like collapsing. I stumbled on something and i fell.
But i didnt fall to the floor. I fell into someone's arms. Blackout.
