8.King of the road ( 4501- 5500points)

Although we are looking for a better way of doing it, we will consider two things to get a point- Front page worthiness and Popularity.

1. When a story hits Front Page it gets 100 points.

a. There are 32 post per thread on Nairaland, that implies 32 comments, whether the Author's or any other person's.
b. each post is 1/2 or 0.5 points.


Therefore if a person has five pages thread,on Nairaland that means 6 pages because the first page is '0'.

This will take a month and will be reviewed the next three months.

quite interesting. this made 2go a success then. I hope the ranking process would be reviewed from time to time. then again, I think the ranking should be released monthly or bi- monthly, so that writers and readers alike can look forward to it and it would even make it more organized.

in short, in my opinion, collect the names over a period of time and publish on a particular day once or twice a month. or weekly sef.

Wole Soyinka, I believe wasn't the most competitive writer back then. Instead if there is anything we see about his life, he is one that shy's from competition and 'a fight'.
You can still have your way but give everyone a listening ear. That's what a leader should do.

I usually shy from competition, and I'll be like in Don Jazzy's voice :
IF YOU WANT THE PRIZE/AWARD, COME AND TAKE IT.
However majority would be happier with this, why because it's the Melancholias or Mel-Phlegs who don't believe in competing for what is supposed to be your past time. ......
