1. Buhari never participated in a coup plot that toppled the democratically elected civilian administration of Shagari!

Big lie! The December 1983 coup was tagged a "Generals coup". Even if we are to believe that Buhari never actively participated in the planning and execution of the coup, he (Buhari) benefited immensely from the treasonous act. Also we should not forget that Buhari had sworn loyalty to Shagari to which he betrayed by assuming the position of head of state.

2. Buhari is not corrupt!


As the premiere minister of the Ministry of petroleum, Buhari oversaw mass and widespread corruption and looting of NNPC revenue amounting to a whopping sum of $4bn that till this day varnished into thin air.

Fast-foward to the present and we see how a lack of proper auditing of oil sales since June, 2015 under the same Buhari direct supervision as minister of petroleum is also repeating itself just as was the case 40yrs back.

3. Buhari is a man of principle and character!

I find it hard to reconcile the above description when considering the fact that Buhari remains on record to be the only head of state to have served under his junior (Abacha) even after Abacha was one of the main conspirators to have overthrown him from office back in 1985.

Even if we ignore Buhari's decision to serve under Abacha how can we see Buhari as a man of principle when he has been on record to have stated that "Abacha was not corrupt" despite all Abacha loot being repartraited.

4. Buhari defeated Maitassine and Boko Haram.

Biggest lie. Maitassine sect reared it's ugly head during the Shagari regime and wasn't totally defeated until the era of IBB in late 1986!

Same thing with boko haram which we all know are far from defeated.
