The military has in recent times stepped up its campaign against the Boko Haram Terrorists in the North East. The range of operations are aimed at routing the remnants of Boko Haram terrorists who are seeking refuge in some remote locations in the forests.

One of these operations carried out by troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE on Saturday, involved troops of 159 Battalion, 27 Task Force Brigade. Troops of the unit acting on a piece of intelligence, successfully executed a swift operation against suspected Boko Haram terrorists locations at Manlumudori, Aridi, Filari, Kingimari, Dinamari, Itari and Mirimari villages.

The unit further artillery bombardment operations west of Subdu village neutralized the concentration of the Boko Haram terrorists at Bulabulin and Alagarno forests.

The offensive operations later dovetailed into cordon and search operation at Degeltura, Gisum and Popamari villages.

I want good surveillance on fleeing bokoharam members and offensives against them in their base. I want their bomb factories and specialists eliminated. I want their sponsors and sympathizers rounded up and prosecuted. I want the people gaining from the continuous war against bokoharam sidelined and put out of the scope of things.

Borno can never be the same again, some village are gone forever, some IDP will never return to their villages.

Maiduguri as it is is over populated due to influx of people from the entire northern and central Borno only southern part town like Biu, hawul, bayo, kwaya, and shani have its people intact.

The IDP that moved to maiduguri are better rehabilitated and get their children to schools and youth get to work if not there will another set of social problem brewing, cos most of this village dwellers that are used to only dawa and kuka have moved to maiiduguri eating rice, yam pasta etc can never go back to their former lives, most of them are spoon fed they have not worked for almost 5 years and laziness may creep in.

After the military war there will be social war with menaces to the society due to war

This is a case of keeping up with useless propaganda. Because they have claimed defeat of sambisa.... They now refer to it as borno forest.

This war can be ended swiftly. there are forces that don't allow that. The foot soldiers are working no doubt, but those that stand to gain are elongating the fight.

Naija people,how far?how market?do you think you know more than the people involved?inspite of camera,surveillance and advanced technology, terrorism and islamic militants are never defeated in first world countries,Germany,France,USA,Canada,Australia etc still experience bomb blasts, matchet attacks etc,it is easier said than done nor rather typed than executed,we are not saying Nigeria army has won but the menace is now reduced compared to a certain time when it was an everyday breaking news,i will just watch and be hopeful if i were you and rather not belittle their achievements.Nigeria army has tried and has improved alot in my little opinion.
