Good day nairalanders, hope y'all are having a nice evening. You guys are always the best when it comes to giving opinions and advises So anyway I'm bothering myself with some thoughts and confusion about my current apartment. I live in a room apartment in Sango Ota, Ogun State and I've spent almost a year and a half. Right now as i type this, the landlady has issue me a quit notice to vacate by this month end which I do not have any money at hand to settle the rent. She just called me tonight and and I explained how hard it has been only for her to started calling me all sorts of names and I tried to plead and calm her down by telling her I will pay the rent soon because she insisted I pay or I leave. The problem I'm having right now is that ever since I've been in the house, I've not had any achievement, the only thing I brought to the house is what is still in the room up till now. Haven't been able to buy what is supposed to be in a man's room and I think the house is evil because there are 16rooms in the whole house and about 7 are vacant since last year, people don't speak good about the house, they all believe it's evil rooted, There's no progress in the house. Even me myself owing 9 months rent which is N18,000. So now I'm having confusion about the decision making of either leaving the house to squat with some friends or keep paying the rent. Honestly I'm tired of the house. Advice needed please and insults are also welcome. Thanks |

Believe it or not ,such houses exists.i grew up in a house where nobody progresses, pregnant women died during childbirth ,once u move in ,to move out is war etc .The landlord's mother was close to 120(about 14 years ago) and she's still alive as we speak .My dad didn't get single promotion altru d 9 years we lived there until we started attenting Mfm ,kasala started ,they said my dad /mum was disturbing them with midnyt prayers (only God knows how they found out ) ...they started avoiding and gave us quit notice .we didn't even stay up2 8 months in d new place ,my dad bought a land ,started developing ,my brother traveled out ,my dad got double promotion @ work .Things are happening but many are ignorant ..better look 4 frnds/family to squat with till u can raise money 2 get a new place ...God help you! |

poshestmina:thanks and God bless for your contribution. I also heard that the very room I rented, a woman has died inside and her dead body was transported to her village also, I witnessed a man that died in the house in 2015 and that was what led the wife and children leave the house a week later |

Pls bro. I would suggest u move back to ur parent house and get a job before u move anywhere else. If that option is still open then take it. This place doesn't seem positive on any front at all. |

atilla:Bro, my parents are divorced and they've both remarried so there is no room for me in their house again. My mom, I don't even know where she is but what I heard is that she's married. I'm the first born if the family and its been kind of hard trying to survive. Bro if you know any good ghetto area in lag that you can suggest for me pls I've got my mind made up. Thanks. |

Make plans to leave since the landlady is not asking you to pay the 18k debt. Besides anyplace you're not comfortable due to negative vibes in will not let you progress whether it's haunted or not. |
