pls, i have an acer aspir 5532 laptop. my bro was watching a movie with it. all of sudden, the system hanged. my then then went ahead to force stop it.
since then, the system wont boot instead it will only display all the light wen u power on a system.
plz, someone shud help me. am using this laptop for my final year project.

Remove the ram. Then replace them one after the other. E.g remove both rams then replace one and try to power up. If it doesn't put that same ram on the other slot and power up again. If it still doesn't work, remove the ram and try the same thing with the other ram. One of your rams must have failed so u have to identify which one it is.

i just tried that just now sir, still no positve response. what else can i try sir. i need help

Did you try it for both rams? If yes then ill advice u still take one step further and get a known good working ram of the same type and test again. If you do that and still didn't get any positive response. Remove any external devices on the computer. Like modems or flash drives or mouse n keyboards that may be connected to USB and try to power up again. P.s did u newly install any drivers before the problem occured?

. yes, i tried it for both rams and slot. i guess i wil get another ram as you said. i dint install any drivers nd currently, no external devise connected to the system. i will try nd get another same type of ram to test sir. i promise to give u feed back sir. thanks for your time. i appreciate you very much sir
