Hello people, I just want to know which Linux distro is your favorite and the why.
My favorites are:
1. Kali-linux because of the in-built tools
2. Fedora for general purpose

I use it for everyday activities so I would go for the following

1. Ubuntu
2. Linux Mint
3. Kali Linux (as a bad sharp babe) grin

I use anyone that's good enough. If I need a special-purpose distro, I'll get it.
I've used Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian and Slackware. I've tested Elementary, Mint, Zorin and Kali. Currently I use Debian 8 (Jessie).
I had to settle for just one because I was running out of disk space.
Fedora is cool but the release cycle is too fast for us that have limited data bundles.
My Slackware disk will always be here: it's easy to get a PC running Slackware and start working comfortably even when you have limited data.
Ubuntu and Debian are also good and I'm not leaving them soon.

Na Debian I dey comfortable with. I don try all of them but I always end up installing Debian.

Ubuntu - bloat. Unity is ugly

Arch Linux - breaks every time

Fedora - I no just like their package manager

Opensus -no even try am. Waste of time

Did you say OpenSUSE is a waste of time? I was considering it for my next OS, especially their rolling release (tumbleweed).
Fedora is also on my mind. Their package manager is now improved, and they have a new one (dnf) which works great.

Guy, that thing ugly tongue, even canonical don drop unity.

Sounds like unity is the only desktop env you've tried.

Nah..tested..several...ubuntu was comfy for me. And it made my work flow more efficient.
Though I'm on to centOs..Installed it without gui and its stressful but au contraire I'm gettn smoother with the command-line.

The reasons for Shuttelworth dropping ubuntu was for reasons of finance and not aesthetics ..as im sure most ubuntu users prefer unity over gnome.
On the long run it proves that a desktop OS is not that simple to finance
