Please i will really appreciate your candid advice, i have a budget of 300-400k to get a car, i saw one hyundai elentra 2000 and the person claims working perfect without any issue. But i want to be sure if it is a good car or not. please your candid advice on your take generally on hyundai cars and this particular brand. Thanks

number 1, 3 and 4 are the same just minor differences, number 2 is another year entirely.

number one isnt a 2000, it was the prefacelift model so you looking at 1995 to 1997/98 depending on the market where it is coming from. The car is ok, the 1.6L engine is from europe majorly, i would advice you stick to a 1.5, 1.8 or 2.0L engine as those variant would be more in thee nigerian spare parts market.

If the car is clean and pass all inspection test you can buy, the issue you may have with this model is suspension parts as it wasnt a common sight in Nigeria during its rain, the other car it share parts with is a once in a lifetime comeby on our roads

the car is no 3 in my pix, you didnt look extremely well at the pix, yes it could be a 2000 model car, its the faclift as the backlight indicates it and the traffic indicator lights too amber instead of clear. the pix you snap is clean, also follow my direction in the former comment

so do you think it is a good buy? someone advising me to get honda bulldog but i dont like honda at all(personal bias)

The car can work during the raining season but it shouldnt be driven in flooded waters often due to ground clearance, you should see the parts its just that this particular year isnt popular on our roads, its more like a relic. But if used judiciously, it will serve you well

please dont buy what you dont fancy (Honda), its not worth it on the long run. If this elantra is not only clean but mechanically sound you can commit to buy it, it is efficient, not robber magnet and will shift popo gaze from you. buy It if it is in good shape not kazeemized.
