Amnesty international is an attention seeking bunch. The biafra protesters killed by the army are unruly and violent youths who were out to destroy the peace enjoyed by other Nigerias living in the east as commanded by Nnamdi Kanu on radio biafra. They burnt several dangote trucks, burnt mosques, shut down and looted markets and shops and even killed and threw security officials over onitsha bridge yet they claim they were having peaceful protest. Who is fooling who?

The shiites killed by the army were forming a government in kaduna state. They are rebellious and refused to recognize the authority of the state government and federal government. They blocked the convoy of chief of army staff turning deaf ears to all pleas and were even ready to engage the military. They only take orders from El-zaky zaky. Which sane government would fold it's arm and watch shiites and IPOB metamorphos into a full blown terrorist group before taking action considering the fact that we are still battling Bokoharam and Niger delta militants?

The Nigerian army's responsibility is to protect the lives and properties of nigerians and defend the sovereignty of the country. They have done just that and sane people consider it as a perfect job.

Amnesty international can keep whining about human rights abuses but will hypocritically turn a blind eye when the United States and other western nations commits atrocities. The US drone program has killed more civilians in Pakistan than the taliban they claim to be fighting. When Iraq was invaded, civilian casualties were on the maximum. Till today Libya is the battling the after effects of the invasion led by the United States. Amnesty international won't see all that. Bloody hypocrites.

Nairaland known for turning an intelligent argument into an afternoon high school fight. Insulting someone is never part of a truly intelligent argument. Insults only say that you have nothing better to say about the topic of argument and so have commenced attacking the person instead of the topic. You need only present your point of view from a position of strength; that's for those quoting and insulting the gentleman for making a valid point.

I totally agree with you on AI being an hypocrite and US getting away with murder all in the name of fighting terror. As a matter of fact world politics goes beyond what we see or read on main stream media. I wish some our Nigerian youths would pick up an history book to truly be able to argue and counter an argument constructively based on facts.

And no I am not defending the Nigerian Army they have a problem of being too high handed in ways they handle conflict resolution. They are always too quick to shoot first and ask questions later. So instead of resolving they only succeed in exacerbating the issue.

Stop all this sentimental rants and call a spade a spade. Did IPOB became violent by burning trucks and mosques? YES

Did IPOB incite the Igbo's to hate other Nigerians? YES

Did IPOB disrepected nigerians by calling our country a zoo? YES

Did IPOB call Buhari a sitting president a pedophile and a terrorist? YES

Do you expect the army and police not to kill such renegades? The army did a good job. Blame Nnamdi Kanu for your predicaments

The main problem facing Nigeria is corruption born out of tribalism and religious sentiments. Just imagine yourself being watched and intimidated by a whole community because you do not belong even though you are born and raised there. The brainwashing in this country is too extreme and I believe our officer are well equipped and learned enough to manage it. So this one that ICC is saying to me looks fishy. I don't and will never support extra judicial killings and I think that the Nigerian government should handle this one.

Since Nigeria is also a member of the International community and a sovereign country it is wrong for ICC probably backed by the United States to engage and try to intimidate it's military (defense mechanism) like this...
I think there's a need for Donald Trump and the ICC to review their approach towards the Nigerian government and Nigeria which is also a Republic just like American.
