Well, if you can list the so called "Benue Igbo" towns that should be moved, why not?
Olukumi villages of delta should be moved into Edo, while Igbanke village of Orhiomwon should be moved into Delta/Anioma.
Itsekiri should also be moved to Edo state, so that the Eddos can have a coast, and also share a state with their half brothers.
Kwara South and Okun land (Kogi West) should also be moved into the South West.

Ikwerre don't wanna join the South East.... there is no argument on that front.
You are a Yoruba man and at the same time an ikwerre man? As for the igbo communities in Benue, u can use Google cos u don't expect me to spoonfeed a grown up like you.
And I hope ilorin is not part of the kwara South u want to move to the SW, those ones are already conquered and must remain under the caliphate.

All of a sudden, you can't mention the names of towns anymore, even though you have been mentioning how Egun is from Burkina Faso and how You want Eche since morning, lol. Now, you want me to go and use google to find the names of phantom towns.
When have you ever seen an Ikwerre person wanting to be South Eastern? undecided

The same person asking me to go and use google didn't find it useful himself to know what is Kwara south.lol. I laugh in Okrika.

And Finally, who told you I am Yoruba? lol
If anioma ever enters South East, and carries all the joint infrastructure in Asaba with them, you Igbos will have to pay the rest of Delta State Billions of Naira used to build that town.

The link below should cure your ignorance of the benue igbos
https://www.nairaland.com/2015869/agony-igbos-benue
So that has been the plan all along, u want anioma to remain in delta state because of infrastructure, you are so pathetic, they have applied for anioma state creation and that will be the 6th South East state... U can hug the nearest transformer.

Your nairaland ink is pure rubbish because in the context of boundary adjustment, you will need to mention the name of the towns and villages that need to be moved to the other side. Not just claiming some phantom farmlands and the labourer workers there as Igboland.
If you want parts of Benue to be moved to South East on the basis of them being Igbo, then that is between you and the Idoma/Igede people who claim all those lands as theirs.

To the second part of your statement, I could care less if Anioma join south East, but they will need to pay back the rest of Delta because every public structure in Asaba and environs was built with our money.

I don't really know why people think a particular tribe must own a city. Warri is pretty much like port-hacourt. In PH, the main port-hacourt town was in the Ijaw area and as the city grew, it spread into the Ikwerre villages and even to some parts of Ogoni land and even Obigbo is considered port-hacourt. So, just like port-hacourt, no tribe can lay claim to warri even though it started out as an Itsekiri enclave.

I thought the original port harcourt started from the ikwerre side - especially the diobu farmlands? I could be wrong though.

You're without shame, cursed with the same myopia I've seen afflicting many of your tribes men.

Buffoon! Arrogant quack! You're defining what is what and who is who in another man's ancestral lineage and affinity. While lumping urhobos and Isoko as one you tore the Anoimas into tiny groups. Bloody wizard! Idiocentric bastàrd! Anioma is one! We're the largest ethnicity in Delta State with the most LGAs.

Idiot! Come and teach me my history.

Oh, Urhobo is fifth largest ethnic group in Nigeria just as Cameroon is the biggest country in Africa.
Orué! Ekpa! Mumu!

What was the need for all these insults? The OP did not insult anyone in his original post. If you disagree with him, then kindly make your views known quietly and clearly, with tact, decorum and politeness. What is the need for this foul language? shocked

Nice & educative post but a part of no 18 where you said nembe & Ogbian people speak a cross river language is absolutely wrong. Nembe is an autonomous ijaw tribe & it's well documented in history as their ijaw language is the official language of the brass people spoken by the inhabitants of that region.

Well said! cheesy Now, let us hope some people will learn how to reply to comments in a mature, polite way using your articulate, well-mannered response, as an example.

Your case is indeed pathetic.
now listen and listen good.
a. Igbos across the Niger (from anambra to wherever their boundary lie) from time immemorial nine out of ten times will refuse to accept you guys as true Igbo. they say those ones nor be real Igbo.

b. some of your own folks deny the igbos across the Niger saying those ones are "across the niger". we are Delta ibo

If you lived in Delta state for at least 10 years these are arguments and terms you should be familiar with.

so it beggars belief to come here and display crass ignorance and attempt to turn history on its head while spewing insults in the process as if that's the only way y'all know to drive home a point.

you are free to join your brothers across the Niger but remember you are already classified as second class citizens by the same igbos you are here clamoring to join the so called land of the sun and remember also that you will have to leave Delta state because you cannot have your cake and eat it.
a word is enough for the wise

May you live long!! cheesy Daalu zi!

We are getting somewhere. Could you be so kind to share the similarities in history, culture, language and physical characteristics between the Igbos and Urhobos? You are also allowed to link these points to the Itsekiris and Ijaws.

@the emboldened, could you also share about ten similarities from 'the endless list'?

I would not have time to type an epistle for u on a matter u would have been well versed in if u have been the type that travel.
History wise, almost every tribe I know in SS have a corrupt Hebrew word as their origin, efik, Ibibio, ijaw, etc all trace their origin to Israel.

physically, GEJ, Akpabio, Orji uzo kalu, James Ibori and tompolo have same looks, they look like igbos and they can be killed in the north for being igbo.

Culturally, marriage rites n understanding/usage of kolanut is almost same between the ijaws and the igbos. An ijaw people married my sister last December and it was then I understood.

My final assignment to u is this, Go and read history... Read Old British files n books u can find online n offline. Read about pre colonial/pre slavery days in Africa. As u go thru, u will start seeing in clear terms who is who in nigeria.

There are igbos carved Into benue n kogi states, u don't know because u are probably Yoruba who are well known to never travel out.

I have been there and I have met them and I have talked with them.

There are also a number of Igala n idoma communities in enugu and anambra states.

Someone thinks he is speaking with a foolish noob, lol.
There are NO Igbo villages in Kogi. Several Igalas have come out to deny it. I am member of their mega forums on Facebook. They say the only things Igbo MAY have in southern Igalaland are farming settlements built by migrant farmers, and that is also the case in Benue.
That is why Agila and still fighting Mgbo in Ebonyi over land and farming resources with till date.

Tell me why odeke, one of the closest Ibaji communities to Anambra had to fight you Igbo people so violently over boundary dispute if Igboland spills into Kogi?
Idoma communities along the Ebonyi and Enugu borders have good relations with their Igbo neighbors and as such also speak Igbo as a language, but using that avenue to claim that their villages are Igboland is just plain treacherous.... And dangerous.

Keep decieving yourselves.

He had it coming! It was the necessary weapon at hand to contain his contagious Fable.
Certain seemingly harsh measures are necessary when some one tries to tell the world about your people and their history in a distorted perspective with all the negative political ramifications it holds.

Now unless you're from Delta State, you wouldn't completely understand his deliberate assault on my people. It has been a stratagem applied one too many by him and his tribal folks to malign and divide my people.

The "insult" you saw was ditched out in a hurry, it would have been graver.

Since the OP feels he can group two distinct ethnicities - the Urhobos (his descent) and Isokos as one entity due to obvious similarities, he more reason to have applied the same principle to the Anoimas who are one people. But for political reasons, he applied two different standards. Above all, he called the Aniomas, a distinct Igbo group a minority. In today's Nigeria such false assertions come with all the negative political and social implications.

Next time he ventures into Anioma waters without caution and restraint, I'll sink the boat of his evil political expedition.

Mr, biko, pack your bags and do some travelling. The Yorubas do kolanuts just as Igbos. Does that make them Igbos as well? Have you been to a typical Yoruba traditional function before? I'm asking because I have.

Unfortunately, you didn't state a thing. Kolanut use in traditional setting is common in every part of the South today and that includes the South West, so please raise other points.

See as he stylishly avoided talking about Urhobo/Isoko and went to pitch his tent with Ijaw instead.

The Urhobos/Isokos DO NOT trace their origin to Israel! That is an aberration! Urhobo doesn't derive from any Hebrew bullsh*t. Origin remains the same in all Urhobo polity: we are from Aka. Efiks/Ibibios DO NOT come from Israel or whatever. They have their origin in Southern Cameroun.

Secondly, the Efiks/Ibibios DON'T in any way look like Igbos. In fact, the Ijaws DON'T look like Igbos at all. How do the Igbos even look like to begin with?
GEJ looks like a typical Ijaw person, not Igbo. He even DRESSES the way Ijaws do. Have you ever seen him on red cap? Does he even wear anything that resembles Igbo?

James Ibori doesn't look Igbo too. He doesn't even talk like one to begin with. If you have ever seen an Urhobo speak, you will NEVER mistake him for Igbo to start with.

Presenting of Kolanuts is not unique to Igbo. It is present across AFRICAN ethnicities. Are they now all Igbos just because they present Kola?

There are NO SINGLE SOURCES (I dare you to provide any) that has ever assumed, implied or inferred that any Southern Minority group is Igbo! NONE whatsoever. So don't pull that stunt here unless you are willing to provide sources. In fact, a quarter of Southern Nigeria was under the BENIN EMPIRE ruled by the Oba of Benin and the people were never referred to as Bini people (which would have made more sense).

So your attempt to balkanise ethnicities into a phantom categorisation in order to suit your reductionist stupidity will NOT work here. Even core, die-hard Igbocentric people have NEVER EVER dared to call even the Efiks/Ibibios as Igbos, talk less of the Urhobos, Ijaws, Edos, Ogonis and Ekois.

There are some ideas that shouldn't be let out from the tribalistic part of your brain where "bright ideas" about other people's ethnicities come from. If you should say things like this in public, you may end up being a pariah (assuming the audience are not minorities, else you may be lynched).

The White colonialists started this rubbish when they called the Ibibio-Annangs "Kwa-Ibos" or sorta like "Quasi Igbo", a very derogatory term for a people with their own culture and history.

Thank God, these days the Ibibios are putting their history of past existence under Igbo hegemony very quickly behind them and forging ahead with their truly found independence as Aka Ibomites. The Efika are doing the same.

You think it is by mistake these Igbos are actively seeking to use "style -style" to bring back the old eastern region and other minorities under the political guise of "Biafra", so that they can culturally colonize them? lol
I pity any minority that falls into that trap.

You still display your subjective and compromised views here! And in the process still trying to divide my people.

You're an Urhobo man, and your behaviour is that of an average Urhobo man. The Aniomas don't behave like you and your people, neither do the Itsekiris nor the Ijaws. And yet you say I don't behave like Delta as if we have one code of behaviour irrespective of our tribal bearings. What a waste you are in the course you chose to burden your myopic outlook. You haven't developed strong intellectual muscles to venture into political and cultural dispositions.

And oh, the people across the Niger : they are your superiors in any human given endeavour.

Now to answer your question; Here is one of the various proofs where you stated that Urhobos and Isokos are one:

fratermathy:

Isoko has been submerged with Urhobo. To be frank and honest, Urhobo and Isoko are one and they were only divided for political reasons. Most people, however, still submerge Isoko as a dialect of Urhobo.

Now there you go! What do you have to say about that? This is the second time, rather the third time I'll be having you disgraced with facts and proof of your myopia and tribalism. You stink of insincerity!

There are some ideas that shouldn't be let out from the tribalistic part of your brain where "bright ideas" about other people's ethnicities come from. If you should say things like this in public, you may end up being a pariah (assuming the audience are not minorities, else you may be lynched).

you should ignore that one.. he even said itsekiri are related to igbo, see delusion.

look at how he his writing the history of minority to suit his ego, but if same is done to his tribe they'd come here and start wailing. grin

So you're really going to tell a Deltan that Efiks and Ibibios have their origin in Israel? Please go and read journals.

Honestly, you are a joke. Tell me, how does an Igbo man look like? Could you be specific as to provide details on certain striking features possessed by the Igbos that is readily found in these folks? What is the difference between Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and Ambode?

Mr, biko, pack your bags and do some travelling. The Yorubas do kolanuts just as Igbos. Does that make them Igbos as well? Have you been to a typical Yoruba traditional function before? I'm asking because I have.

Unfortunately, you didn't state a thing. Kolanut use in traditional setting is common in every part of the South today and that includes the South West, so please raise other points.

Did you mention 'travel'. Like seriously? Funny.

lolx.. worst shittt av read for a long tym.. he even said ibori looks like igbo, lol.. and Southern minority migrated from Israel.. lol wtf

men am seriously laughing my ass off, all in a bid to lay claim to unrelated minorities.

I can't seem to find where that post was made. Kindly provide a direct link to the post itself. Don't make it seem like you fabricated it. I need the link and the context where that was said (if at all it was said). Need I remind you that we are talking about THIS THREAD?

I am still waiting for number 2. Let me remind you again:
Proof that I said Anioma is NOT one.

And I'm glad you've finally unveiled your identity as an across-the-niger Igbo, not an Anioma. That has been established with your last post.

You're so petty and psychologically inferior! What does it matter whether I'm Eastern or Western Igbo?
Does it feel bad that an Anioma man loves his Igbo brothers and sisters across the Niger? Does it make you more insecure?

It you're mentally and psychologically healthy you should be in a pang of conscience. But no, you're still trying to hold on to your dry and worn out pride, trying to prove what you're not.

Please sign out, you're an intellectual embarrassment. I don't need to bother myself with your meaningless second question, it is right on this thread and somewhere in another post. Truth is you're not worth the disturbances.

I'll leave you with a pictorial proof, evidence you can't tamper with.

Now we have a case.

1. The screenshot you just showed was of September 2015 (2 years ago)! This is, in no way, related to this thread.
2. Judging from (1) above, why then did you attempt to imply that I said Urhobos and Isokos are ONE on this thread? I needed proof for that statement on this thread and you went to 2015 to source for one? C'mon man! You can do better than that.
3. If I am even to speak on the screengrab you presented now, kindly explain to me how I made it clear that Urhobos and Isokos are one and the same ethnic groups? The post was a response to a question asked by other users on why Isoko was not treated as part of the topic and my response was that Isoko was treated alongside Urhobo, hence the usage of the word "submerged". So how does this context help your case?

4. Where is the proof that I said Anioma is not ONE? You seem to be avoiding this.

Keep everything within this thread because we are talking about THIS THREAD, not another one. If you have an issue with a post on another thread, then take your issues to that thread. Don't make a fool of yourself just to score cheap likes from your misguided fellows.

Why would you read it? I didn't expect you to do so. My post was not made for you but for those who may be misguided by your tribalism, narcissism, delusions and arrogance. After all, you have made it obvious that your intellectual acuity halted at primary school.

There are 250 ETHNIC GROUPS in Nigeria and more than 400 dialects spoken across the nation. Just because the artificial creation of Nigeria made Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba important doesn't mean I have anything to do with any of them as a minority man.

You're an unrepentant intellectual fraud! And you lack shame even in the face of undeniable evidence.

I'm done with you - for now!

You are done? Already? For someone bubbling with anger a few posts ago that I lumped Urhobo and Isoko as one and said Anioma is not one, you seem not to really care again.

I will reiterate my questions, for the benefit of doubt:

1. Where, IN THIS THREAD, have I said Urhobos and Isokos are ONE?
2. Where, IN THIS THREAD, have I said Anioma is not ONE?

*IN THIS THREAD is emphasised because you created the impression initially that your angst is with what I wrote in my original post here and I had expected you to draw attention to exactly where you had issues with the post. If you have any issue with my previous posts, it should have been stated outrightly or you should have commented on the same thread where such post was made.

You seemed so sure when you commented at first and you hauled various invectives at my person to create the impression that you were pained. Why the sudden reversal of actions? You are yet to show sufficient proof of what you accuse me of (except a passing comment from September 2015 which has no correlation with this thread).

I am patiently waiting for the proofs.

This is the first time I'm reading about Ibori looking like an Igbo man. It is funny and stúpid at the same time. Well, what do you know? It has been revealed that we are all from Israel. Better get you shawl and start planning on growing your beards. cheesy

This is comic relief.
