When any person ask God for repentance of their sin, God format their past from any book that has such records that have their sins written therein Isaiah 43:25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. nunamyeong: Sure, God would judge everyman according to his work, but you can start a new life, a life without no past works immediately you give your life to Christ. God won't use any of those things you did in the past against you, and by the way, the clock start ticking the moment you give your life to Christ and those are the works God would judge, and for those who do not accept Christ, they would also be judged by their works. God would judge our works, but at the same time, there remaineth a forgiveness and formatting of past sins which won't stand against us on the judgement day, if only we accept Christ 2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 7 Likes |

I still haven't seen a complete explanation to this scripture. I am not much of a religious person, but I read my Bible and try to avoid evil. The same bible says that "whatever a man sows he shall reap", examples are abound in the Bible of people who were evil and repented of their evil, they were forgiven, but in one way or the other they paid for the sins they committed. I will like to use the Apostle Paul as an example, he oversaw Stephen's stoning and persecuted the early Christians, after repentance I don't know of any other Apostle that suffered as much as Paul did. The Bible also wrote that heaven and earth shall pass away but my word shall remain, another passage wrote that non of his words shall ever fall to the ground. I believe that whatever a man sows he reaps, even though he is repentant or born again he must pay for his actions soon or later. My thoughts anyway, then again what do I know?  9 Likes |

Hier So, if you steal a shirt from me and thereafter you claim to give your life to Christ, you think you'll be free from the consequences of your action? Any day I see you with my shirt, I'll put tyre round your neck. Go and explain your story to God in heaven. When you give your life to Christ, you obtain SPIRITUAL forgiveness. It doesn't in any way confer PHYSICAL forgiveness. The only way to ensure physical forgiveness is to make peace with those you have wronged AKA restitution. The law of sowing and reaping is not a spiritual law, it's a natural law. Hence, even if you claim to be saved, you must be responsible for the consequences your actions. To be in Christ is to be given opportunity (grace) to redeem your sins in Christ. By your actions afterwards, you cleanse yourself from all connections and attachments to the former life and this enables your spirit to be lighten and lifted into oneness with the Almighty. As a Christian, I don't and never believed in automatic deletion. Even for a repented soul at the point of death, the only redemption is the grace to "come again". Selah! |

You must seek forgiveness and be repentant it's not enough to just expect forgiveness you must seek it and resist anything that will cause you to sin My bible was missing for 3 months my coworker stole it and was carrying it to church how did I find out my keys went missing so the spirit said to search the work room was asking everyone for the Bible when I noticed it was gone no response till I discovered the Bible in their work room The first time he took slippers that belonged to my mum the second time it was an MP3 speaker the Bible was the 3rd I don't need to ask who took my key God works like that |

Really? Cos if that statement is to come an inch to the vicinity of reality and fact, do you know no bad can befall anyone? There won't be people born blind, poor etc? More so, all the good a person had sown will all be deleted as well...all effort is gone in the air. The person who said " I am a just God " then is another 'lai mohammed'. I recall when this 'God' is touted to be more than men...if us being men know about when an act is an injustice, "how much more our heavenly father?" Are we going to continue in this fantastic fantasy? Do you know that the design of the world (how this world functions) has it that without a past, there can never be a present? |

Seeing that God said, the day that thou eat of this fruit, thou shall surely die, Adam having eventually ate, died and Jesus came to give us life so we won't be a partaker of the death John 3'16, . . . whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, . . ., from this verse, I have come to understand that, everyone would have perished, if not that Jesus came, because when you remove Jesus from that verse, it would tell you a different story, evidently perishing would be part of it. So a life without Jesus would perish. To be in Christ means, to accept the Lordship and saviourship of Christ and to indirectly denounce any effect the devil has at work in our members. |
