Betting is big business in Nigeria. But the true winners are not the gamblers but the owners of betting sites. As long as there are youths in Nigeria, there would be money for betting sites. Find a way to become a partner.

Real estate investing is still a fail proof business in Nigeria. Just do your due diligence and buy lands in areas that would develop in 10 years or less and you can get as high as 200% ROI in 5 years. That return is a normal one in real estate investing. No need to create hostels or hotels. Just buy land and wait for it to appreciate.

You cannot invest in a small business and sleep with your eyes closed if you do not live within the country. You have no effective legal recourse if things go wrong and no knowledge of the partners you wish to join yourself to. Stop wasting your time.
Your best option is to buy Treasury bills or FGN bonds.
