*NO ONE TAKES OAU SPIRITUAL LEADER AWAY FROM PROF SANUSI*

Following the enlightenment to people across the globe on the attack of Prof Sanusi on the two masaajid, the OAUMC stooge MSSN are quick in defending Prof Sanusi from all anti Sunnah activities carried out by the chief Imam and his cohorts. OAUMC MSSN see nothing wrong in the demolition of the two mosques, but also termed it "temporary closure awaiting renovation"* even though the world has watched how the chief Imam led a delegate to destroyed the Qur'an and turned it to foot mat. Are the Mus'af in need of renovations too?!

Obviously, the Imam too needs a RENOVATION!

Prof Sanusi is not against Sunnah yet his comments on beard and trousers is well noted in the clinic when he said they should rusticate anyone with beard and Sunnah trousers.

Has any brother drawn spiritual leader battle line with the chief Imam? Nay! Then where are you when the chief Imam was saying Aqdu Nikkah is modernised Zinah? Even though his daughter given in marriage June 6th last year gave birth December the same year. Was the Imam bold enough to announce it on the mimbar?

Many a time Imam has accused several brothers and sisters of illegal marriage just because he wants all to be like him.

Check Professor Roger's memoir in the school bookshop and see his comment on what the Imam said concerning Niqab, but to you an attack on Niqab is not an attack on Sunnah?!

An attack on Nisfu Sak is not an attack on Sunnah?!

An attack on beard is not attack on Sunnah?!

An attack on Qur'an is not an attack on Sunnah?!

What is the condition of health sciences mosque now? The Imam was in the meeting where they decided to ban religious activities in the college while you still see Christians holding fellowships in the same college in the name of permissions.

Though how will a man who prays in his house in quarters values the house of Allah?

AWO AND FAJ MOSQUES CLOSURE: UNIFEMGA SPEAKS

Salaam Alaykum,
Following the escalation by a section of the students to NSCIA the Sultan mandated MUSWEN to investigate and resolve the MSSN OAU crisis and several meetings and interventions took place by MUSWEN. MUSWEN resolved that the hall mosques be handed over to the OAU Chief Imam and recognized the MSSN OAU executives recognized by National MSS executives. After several postponement MUSWEN was in Ife on Friday 2nd June,2017 and met with the Acting Vice Chancellor. Following that meeting the OAU Management closed both the Awo and Fajuyi hall mosques and handed the keys of the Mosques over to the Chief Imaam. The OAU Muslim Community in conjunction with UNIFEMGA will now need to raise money for the renovation of both Mosques.

As salamun Alaykum waramotulahi wabarakatuhu.

I will like to congratulate all of us for being given the opportunity to accomplish over 80% of the 1438 Ramadan. I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) will be merciful to us all till the end of this year’s Ramadan in good health and allow us to witness many more in our lives, Amin.

As the blessed month of Ramadan is getting to a close I feel obliged to let you know some of the events that has happened in the last six weeks since our reunion conference and to solicit for your support in fulfilling some pledges that we have made under the banner of UNIFEMGA.

At the AGM held on the night of Saturday May 5th 2017 during the reunion conference, The OAU Muslim Community Chairman presented a request of over N10m (Ten Million naira) to complete the Minaret, landscaping, etc. for the Central Mosque. We made a pledge of N5m (Five million naira) contribution to OAU Muslim Community to complete the construction of the minaret for the OAU Central Mosque.Alhamdulillah a brother has contributed N2m (Two million naira) out of this money.

Also during the conference the executives of OAU MSSN presented a request for N1.6m to us, for them to sponsor free Iftar for students during the Ramadan, we told them UNIFEMGA will contribute N250,000.00 ( Two hundred and fifty thousand naira only) to their ambitious effort. Alihamdulillah, four of our brothers have fulfilled this pledge on our behalf.

About three weeks ago, the OAU Management closed the Mosques at Awolowo and Fajuyi halls, and handed same over to the Chief Imam for the Muslim Community to put the place to proper use.
UNIFEMGA welcomes the closure of the hall mosques and worked with OAU MSSN to provided a bus to convey students to and from the Central Mosque and the halls of residence during this Ramadan period.

After consultations the OAU Muslim Community asked our Architects to do a design of the necessary renovations in the two hall mosques and they have presented an estimated bill of N7.5m for each mosque.
The major items in the estimates are as follows;

(i)Roofing - N2.4m
(ii)Tiling - N2.8m
(iii) Louvres – N0.56m
(iv) water installation - N0.44m
(v) Electrical - N0.55m
(vi) painting - N0.6m
(vii) other - N0.25m
Total - N7.6m

However, even if we decide to polish the terrazzo floors and do away with tilling, we will still need approximately N5m to renovate each of the hall mosque.

It is for the above items that I am using this medium to solicit for your financial contributions to enable us accomplish the projects.

The summary of our needs are as follows;

(i)Balance of our pledge to OAU Muslim Community for completing the Central Mosque Minaret - N3m

(ii)Renovation of the two hall Mosques – N10m

Let me mention it here that one of us has offered to renovate one of the hall mosque prior to getting the actual estimates. We have been unable to present the estimates of the architects to him as he is presently in Saudi Arabia for Umrah.

I also wish to acknowledge that the OAU MSSN needs a bus and again one of our members has promised to buy it for them.

I am hereby imploring all of us to maximise the benefits that we will get from our donation by making part or all of our donation towards the above cause during this month of Ramadan, at the very least our pledges. The account to pay the contribution is as follows:

Name: Unifemga Mosque Project
Acct no: Keystone bank 1005239079

We would like to get all donations before the end of July so that we can complete the Hall mosque renovation in August before the University resumes for Rain semester in September. Our target is to raise at least 15m in this drive to meet all our commitments stated above.

May Allah reward you as you donate towards our cause. I wish you all a happy celebrations and the reward for an accepted month of fasting, Clearance of all Sins.

Very saddening, this just shows that chief Imam and his partisan MSS foot soldiers are not interested in dawah in anyway.

They want to turn the hall mosques to that event center they call a central mosque. Allah forbid that such happens. Aameen.

Those halls gained the noble reputation that they have not by beauty and designs but by knowledge, adherence to the sunnah, honesty, transparency, simplicity and other traits which the students found in their leaders, they loved us and we loved them.

Awo hall mosque and Faj hall mosque are a milestone in the lives of all those who passed through them despite the leaking roof and ugly wiring.

praise be to Allah.

Surah At-Taubah, Verse 18:

The Mosques of Allah shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day; perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat and fear none but Allah. It is they who are expected to be on true guidance.

Is it then he, who laid the foundation of his building on piety to Allah and His Good Pleasure, better, or he who laid the foundation of his building on an undetermined brink of a precipice ready to crumble down, so that it crumbled to pieces with him into the Fire of Hell. 7.6Million naira, subhanaLLaah. To renovate Awo and Faj mosque only?! So how much will be needed to organize lectures? millions of dollars I guess.

And what further clarifies the evil within Imam and his partisan foot soldiers is that they went to demolish the mosques without having available funds for the renovation.

I pray to sincerely to make chief Imam repent before his death. I wonder what he will tell Allah when all these generations of brothers and sisters bear witness against him that he was a tyrant man and arrogant egoistic power hungry man. And how he fought with all his wealth and power against the sunnah.

What an evil soul his body arbours

All what i know is that each faction will talk in a way to vindicate themselves. My advice to people reading all this news concerning oau should do proper findings before he or she judges.

When you people are restricting muslim students from school politics, dont u knw if we are not involved in policy making, they may arrive at a policy that wont favour we muslims thereby denying us of our right. So i will implore you people to stop ur protest or complaining of bad management.

SubhanaLLaah, you need to fear Allah and avoid speaking out ignorance.

Allah commanded the believers to strive in His cause, so the claim that "don't fight on behalf of Allah " is a weak, baseless and unIslamic claim. It contradicts many verses of the Quran.
Your second claim is a big lie. Awo hall mosque and Faj hall mosque were citadel of learning rather 'homes' for thousands of students, even the sister who uses just a scarf, and the brother who is far from the sunnah were all well accommodated, we all ate, slept and lived together in those mosques. I know a brother in Faj, he spent most of his time in the mosque reading, he had many friends who practiced the sunnah. Till he graduated, he didn't practice the sunnah and that never affected his accommodation in the mosque, rather he had a space almost like a reserved space for him where he read.
This is just an example.

In my department, everyone (especially Muslims) liked me, those who didn't like me were neutral, they didn't hate me. I was the only male practicing the sunnah back then.

The only people who have problem with these brothers are partisans and haters of the sunnah. Unfortunately for these partisans, they will ally with any Tom, Dick and Harry in their hunger for fame, power and wealth even if it is an Ahmadiyyah disciple.

And those who went ahead to get into the politics, tell us what good they have brought to Islam.

This chief Imam is a typical example of ignorant Muslims being policy makers.

In my experience on OAU campus, a Christian as policy maker has been far less harmful to Islam than those ignorant Muslims

These ignorant people get all they own and need with the name of Islam, then when they get what they need, the Muslims will be their first victims.

Only, few Christian lecturers will dare to deny you entry into a lecture room or exam hall because you went for Solah and arrived late. But the ignorant Muslim lecturer will not only chase you out, he will also embarrass you and your Islam. SubhanaLLaah!

The extension of Faj mosque that used to be used by the Muslim students for tutorials, when the place was closed, the Christians couldn't dare to come. They sent Dr Ajadi of department of Mathematics, he was such a warthog, he grunted and shouted and led them to seize the place and today it's a photocopy centre. SubhanaLLaah.

Another case of an ignorant Muslim. I can continue writing.

Who unregistered MSSNOAU for years, isn't it chief Imam when he had Dr Durosinmi (fors DSA, also a Muslim) as his puppet.
They refused to register the brothers and made a condition not found in any section of the school constitution.

Can relate to this, happened many times in my 300l when some of my classes clashed with time of salaah and the time would've elapse before the class ends....but what do you expect when they pray anytime they like or don't pray at all....

By the way I would want a clarification brother Newnas, isn't this a kind of "khurooj" on a Muslim leader?
Re: Alhaji Abefe Sanusi (chief Imam OAU) by Newnas(m): 7:09am On Jun 29, 2017
Imam Sanusi had been a tyrant for years. He is power hungry, egoistic and completely ignorant.

As for being power hungty:

He has been Imam since his under graduate days. Probably many of those commenting are ignorant of this fact: The Ameer of the students also has a slot in leading the Jumah prayer at the central mosque. The Imam cancelled it so as to maintain the monopoly of 'Chief Imam'.
He has been leading people old enough to be his father since undergraduate days but today he claims that the youths should not elect leaders for themselves rather he should be the sole chairman of the process.

As his Ego:

This is obvious from the above.
He doesn't want anyone to question whatever crap he says.
Well, we love him as a father but the Truth (Quran and Sunnah) is more beloved to us than even our parents. Every reasonable Muslim should understand that rather should abide by it.
So if the Imam wish to be followed and obeyed, he has to put his ego in the thrash can then follow and submit to the truth.

As for his ignorance: describing it will be a complement for him. He is not close to any of the hall Imams, he is not even close to those I was teaching back then. His ignorance is beyond bounds. It's a fact.

He should stay in the Teaching Hospital, that's his area of specialization. Being an Imam is a transgression on his path.

May Allah guide us and him to what He loves.

Aameen

AbdelKabir:

Thanks so much.

Firstly: Alhaji Abefe is not a Muslim leader for the students. The Muslim students are a body, the Muslim staffs are another body. It's the Imam that is trying to transgress by dabbling into the affairs of the students.

This is a notion that many people do not understand. Imam Sanusi is not a sultan on campus. Which power does he have other than to delay people for Jumah. He's just like the Imam of a big mosque in your community, is that imam and authority that should tell you when to go to work or not?!

The school authority does not recognize him as someone whose final say on an issue is binding upon all the Muslims especially the students.

Check the hierarchy of administration, Chief Imam is not there. Though, they may Consult him as a representative of the Muslim staffs.

If he had power and authority, he would not need to be lobbying around offices before prosecuting the students for going against his whims and desires.

Secondly: I'm not under the school anymore. The authority that anyone has within the walls of the school is restricted to those who are within the walls. Not me, absolutely not me.
