Thank you very much. I really appreciate this.
gaviria:

No one can pick a school for you because i don't know the kind of schools you'd like (Tier) so you'd have to decide yourself. But UTD is good and from this thread ETSU seems to give a lot of scholarship and GA. You can find schools using GRE in these pictures, although It's not complete. I had deleted them from my phone, i just had someone I sent it to earlier resend them but he too couldn't find the rest. I hope you and others find them useful.

When it comes to MBA , you really need to get the school right because MBA just 2 years but the job prospect stays a long time. Pick the right school or else its a big struggle to get a job (both home and away) after the program ..... Especially with MBA , its all about the school and the networks . Before you start an MBA in the USA what I am saying with make little sense but after the program you look back and say hummmmmm..... anyway I almost digressed from a good news (which is visa approved)

Congrats and good you kept at it ...... May God bless your new journey .

if that is the case then a better answer would have been ,

VO - U know what, I did the same course you are going for. So why Arcadia University why not the school I attended . I bet if I google schools who offer IPCR I won't find Arcadia.

Yes there are other well known schools that offer IPCR , but after I applied to Arcadia I was given funding which is one of the key reasons why I decided to go for this school and their program also offers xx .......

You have to be well prepared and think fast on your feet to always defend why a particular school and you have less than 2 minutes to do so . What other schools did you apply to ??

The VO was just playing on her intelligent. The response lacks substance. That's why the VO was asking the questions repeatedly. She didn't do her homework properly; she can apply again.

Visa approved today 7 45am after 2 denials. B1 visa - January, 2017 and F1 visa - June 29,2017.

I give God the glory for all. Special appreciation to Mr Sojax2cool who contacted me after my last denial. He said "now that you have met me, you are getting your visa", to the glory of God, it happened. We chat and spoke daily in preparation for my visa interview. It happened. I appreciate Mr Taxrem, we spoke twice, he denied me visa once and approved my second mock interview.

I arrived at the embassy by 6 30am even though my interview was for 7 45am. We were called in around 7 30am. A young lady interviewed me in the isolated window close to the one we do fingerprint. Two people were denied before me

VO: Good morning, how are you doing?
Me: I am fine and you?
VO: Passport please
Me: Passed passport, I20 and sevis receipt to her
VO: Which school are you going to?
Me: Ashland University, Ashland, Ohio.
VO: Checks my i20, why the school?
Me: (for my mind : you don play into my hands) Asides the recommendation I got from Dr David, an alumnus of the school, I did my further research and I discovered they have a line of commited and dedicated faculty members. 90 percent of their professors were on the field, before delving into academics
VO: Yes yes all business schools are like that
Me sad in my mind : Jesus what will I say bayi ?) I found out Prof Greenwich is a Veterinary Doctor and excelled in the Veterinary enterprise, I will get more from his experience .
VO: What course did you do in UG ?
Me: Veterinary medicine
VO: So why a business degree?
Me: It will help me to excel in the business world . When I was young there is this big veterinary enterprise on my street that spurred me into studying Veterinary medicine. MBA will give me the necessary skills to become a great business man.
VO : How did you know about the school?
Me : Dr David my AVO, in Kano who is an alumnus of the school told me about the school
VO: Oh, you schooled in Kano?
Me: No my compulsory NYSC was in Kano
VO: what the you do there?
Me: I was the resident Vet Dr there where I worked for Kano state gvt
VO: What have you been doing since then?
Me: Immediately I finished I started my Vet clinic with my friend Dr Yomi, where I do checkups, disease diagnosis and treatment for animals
VO : Which animal did you specialize on?
Me: Dogs mainly
VO: I have been in Nigeria for a while and I have not seen one single Dog
Me: There are Dogs in my area, people keep them for pet and security purposes
VO: Which case do you see often
Me: pardon?, she repeats herself while I compose myself. Endo and ecto parasites mainly, then towards the end of the year, parvo virus cases.
VO: who will be paying?
Me: My mum
VO: What does she do?
Me : My mum professor Bolanle....
VO: cuts... Oh she is a prof?
Me : yes
VO : which dept
Me : psychology
VO: I will be issuing your visa
Me: I couldn't feel my body anylonger. I was so light. Thank you Ma, I said got my white paper and started running to inform my people

I did not tell anyone I was going for an interview excess Mr Sojax2cool and Mr Taxrem
I practiced and practiced and look for more backup answers
I committed it into the hands of God, I asked for favour. Only God gives visa. Adequate, I mean adequate preparation is key also. It gives you the confidence that there is no question that you can't answer without fidgetting
You might not be able to go through all transcript from the forum, you can still try to. If your interview is close, type VO and your course under the search, you'll see good transcripts.
The first transcript for my denial someone called me 'Dumb' , it was painful but that didn't discourage me. That one gets once visa doesn't mean one is the wisest, the person got connected to the right information some didn't have access to.
I wish everyone the best. Thanks so much

Please I want to make some enquires;

I am a single mother due to circumstances and my baby has a different surname as me. I want to apply for a student visa next month via Kaplan. What are the possibilities of getting an approved visa with a 4month old?

Another question; I applied for a visit visa last year and got denied. Would that affect anything?

It doesnt mean anything. My wife applied for student visa with her maiden name still on her passport while my son carries my own surname. You would apply for F1 while your baby would be F2 visa

NB: when applying to a small , expensive private Institution, and the VO asks why this school, please don't give the crap about One Prof and research gbogbonise. Give very sane responses that would justify the thousands of dollars you want to shell out for a degree. Possible responses could include.
1. The alumni Network - you could stress some simple stats such as " 90% of alumni at xyz are consultants in the big 4 and I am hoping to benefit from this rich network in accelerating my career"
2. specialisations - several small schools have specialisations which cannot really be found anywhere and you can give response such as " the consumer behaviour stochastic modelling study at xyz which is one of kind offers new possibilities which I most definitely want to exploit"
3. Financial Aid- If you get any form of aid from the school wether merit based or otherwise, that is enough reason to pick a school as money no dey grow untop tree.
4. location and other miscellaneous factors - A college in Wyoming would be best suited for a prospective geophysical or geological student... Iowa will be best for them Agricultural Folks, and Louisiana, if youre yammering on the shale boys for oil.

I used IERF. My reason for using them was because i didn't have the time to follow up with WES and my school and they delivered on that. No delays or stories about confirmation from school.
There services is good. they reply to my mails promptly. My result after evaluation was still good. The only down side for me was that I used postal mail for my school copy and my own too. Where the school received there almost immediately after evaluation. I got mine 6 months after. So I would advice if you wish to go with them and you need your copy fast, then pay for courier services.

Iowa will be best for them Agricultural Folks, and Louisiana, if youre yammering on the shale boys for oil.[/quote]
