realhumanity, I perfectly understand your post cos I've lived and still have my people staying in the North, Even though I'm presently in the South East. I've also tried time without number to explain this to them, buh the mentality of those of them here who haven't moved out of the confines of the zone leaves me worried.

Majority of them don't care what happens to those in the North, they keep chanting "come back home" like it's that easy leaving a place you have settled and your source of livelihood to come back and live in poverty and penury. Ask them how many they can house, or if East can contain everyone that comes back and watch how they dodge the questions and tongue lash you with insults, it's so unfair, we are meant to be our brothers keepers and reason like one, an attack on one igbo is an attack on all the igbo nation, we must learn to uphold the legacy we are known for.

Lastly, this is not an avenue for skull miners and other igbo haters to vent their hatred, rather, look for for sustainable means of solving your own many problems. This also doesn't change our ideology about Biafra.

The call for Biafra still stays but we need to be smarter than the people around us. It is not about achieving Biafra, we should achieve a Biafra where everyone will start happy not picking crumbs on the ground.

The number of vices will increase if we don't checkmate these things before it goes wrong.

oga lets tell ourselves the truth, igbos up north are there for one primary reason money. money has beclouded their sense of reason. secondly if i face danger everyday what are u still doing there. what concern village people with igbos up north. dont village people hve lives and enough prob of their own. you talk of job losses what jobs. are their igbos working for hausa man in the north. aside trading which is d main occupation what else.

We have engineers, bankers, doctors, lecturers, real estate investors here. Igbo's are doing virtually everything in the north. Igbo ppl own hotels even more than northerners in kano. They are not just here trading, many have factories especially plastic factories. You don't know. Igbo have millionaire city in kano where they built one of the finest houses.

The truth is, many of you talk because you have not seen very successful Igbo ppl here. They are quite much.

I assure you, there are still a lot of Igbo's in the Maiduguri and environs. Kano, Kaduna, sokoto and Niger house of the highest population of Igbo's. We need to look from their own perspective too.

Sabo take your preaching elsewhere. Like the North has not been killing them like forever. You think that if IPOB stop calling for referendum that it will automatically stop the North from killing Igbos there.

You are a sabo.

I am not supposed to say this in a public forum but the truth is, how many of them have a welcoming extended family in the east. Many of them complain about their family problems that's why don't like coming home. You might want to rubbish it but some of them have land disputes which make them stop coming totally.

Another thing you need to know is that, many if them were born in the north and have only known the north since they were kids.

my broda i hve been to kano and i know that. but dat is my exact annoyance with our people why do build factories and fine houses in kano. did they not learn from history. if u must build why not a small bungalow in the north and a bigger one in the east. haba how can igbos be this stupid. now they hve set a trap for themselves and expect pity. i hve no pity for them for they are foolish. my uncle stayed in miaduguru borno for almost 20yrs. built 3 houses in the east. but lived in a small unpainted bungalow with absetos roof on half plot. when boko got out of hand he moved down east and has not looked back. that is how a wise igbo man lives. you learn from the northerners living in lagos, onitsha they dont build fine houses despite how peaceful the east is. why should igbos go to an hostile enviroment and build fine houses. are they not stupid

Nope I am not letting you get away with it.

You have not answered my question of where are the "thesis" you wrote:

when NYSC members where slaughtered in the North?

or the one you wrote when an innocent woman was killed in cold blood ?

or the one you wrote suing for peace when an oba in lagos made a hate speech towards the Igbo?

or the one you posted onn NL when your president was busy spewing trash about 95% vs 5%?

But you are quick to blame IPOB as the cause of the current hate speech being circulated in the north.

You are nothing but a sabo. Until you show us your post where you called those other people to order or call them out for their action you are nothing but a sabo.

I don't want to drop name here but I have been in the company of one of the richest Igbo politicians and during our conversation he told us that he has no physical investment outside Igbo land. That he realized that whenever there is tension in the North or elsewhere those guys go about destroying properties and business belonging to Igbos.

He said his investment strategy is if he most invest in any physical investment outside Igbo land he will ensure that the a native of that place owns at least 50 percent of the investment. He also said that since he started doing that he has never lost any physical investment to riots.

oga is it a must they build in the village. land is available in onitsha, awka, enugu etc so that reason does not hold. secondly many were born in the north means they hve parents. how come their parents never took them to see home. does it mean their parents did not witness d civil war. while will an igbo man forget where he came from. can a yoruba or hausa man do that. he forgot to the extent he failed to build a house in the east. my brother lets tell d truth even if kanu and ipob did not arise does it mean igbos must remain foolish there are certain things that should not b and building fine houses and factories in the north is one of such.

I dont hate anybody am not a tribalist and am not here to blame Nnamdi kanu, true out his ipob brohaha no time has hausa in the east been killed collectively for any reaosn or ipob attacked anybody.
I dont support biafra or Nigerias break up.

But if Nigeria looks away and igbos in the north are killed, anybody reading this shud look at todays date today is 6th of august 2017, a sunday.

If that happens even if Nigeria does not break the North and Nigeria should know they owe me a debt that will be paid 100percent in full. All my dads brothers were killed during the war, my Dad did not grow up with brothers or with a father he was d last child from his mother all d rest apart from his sisters were killed in the war.

But i choose to forgive Nigeria and the north for the sake of God and patritism.

But if igbos are allowed to be killed, new monster greater than shekau wud be created in this earth with one intention to Sink this nation to the ground and i would do everything within my power to make it happen even ifd it takes a 100years. Even if it means me tieing a nuclear weapon to my waist and detonating it in Nigeria let us all go extinct no problem.

He who has ears let him hear.

We are fed up with this rubbish, those questing for blood wud get it in full.

Seriously, you are right. But we cannot abandon them now when they are in trouble. A practical solution should be chosen to help them out of this dire situation. We have not been doing our work as a people.

If we sit here and complain about why they did not relocate to the village ten years ago, we will still not be talking about the solution. The only thing is, if we can solve the problem of absorbing them in the east, then we have no problem at all.

I so much await this october 1st...

I want to see really if all Nnamdi kanu said was true.

If Fulani hedsmen attack u even before u retaliate army wud fill the entire place, fulani herdsmen has been attacking and killing people all over southern Nigeria yet nobody has called for their genocide. But north wants to kill our people in the north jusr because according to them someone that does not represent igbos called for Nigeria break up.

I so much want to see the outcome of october 1st.

These days i hardly comment on Nairaland but things are going to happen nd it wont be good things but i wud love it.
